As far as I can see in this Forums… there’s not a Thread regarding “How to Beat Challenges”. I’m going to put this up:
SIDENOTES:
If this Guide isn’t accurate, this Guide and I are open to any suggestions for improvements
This Guide might update from time to time, as to provide Guides for the datamined Weekly Challenges
I’ll add in newer Upcoming Weekly Challenges (in case they haven’t been added or there are newer datamined Challenges
If you have any questions regarding any of the sections, don’t hesitate to ask them
This Guide is going to be the longest, if not one of the longest, thread in this forum so far
Let’s stop the introduction and let’s get this done.
STARTER CHALLENGES: These Challenges can be done by the simple player. Pretty self-explanatory if you ask me. The previous Challenges must be completed to unlock the next one. These challenges are for free and do not cost any Diamonds.
- Catch a Star
To complete this Challenge, you need to 3-star every major stage (the stages with #1-7 encircled) of Chapter 4 in the Normal Campaign. If you have done this ago, you need to do it again.
- Get strong Heroes or stick with your original team to do it again.
- The Name’s Wilde
To complete this Challenge, you need to Collect 20 Nick Wilde Hero Chips from the Elite Campaign, specifically, Chapter 4, assuming it won’t change in the next few updates.
-
There are 3 levels where you can farm Nick: Utilidor 2, 37, and 81; or levels 2, 5, and 7, respectively.
-
Try to time it with the events like the “Double Drop Elite Campaign”, like the event now to give you an edge in the challenge. If you don’t make it to the event or you plan to do it without the event, you need to get at least 3 Nick Chips every day from the levels, assuming you don’t have resets.
- Ride the Ferris Wheel
Pretty self-explanatory. To complete this Challenge, you need to Sign-in every day for three days in a row. Guild Check-ins do not count.
- Try to restart the challenge before Signing in, that way, you’ll have time. But be wary, if you miss even one day, the Challenge will be void.
- Social Butterfly
Once again, pretty self-explanatory. To complete this Challenge, you need to ask 5 different friends to send you a Private Message. All in one day. Private Messages only, nothing more, nothing less.
- I don’t know about the other servers, but S7’s chat has weird intervals, so if your server is like mine, it’s going to be hard, but manageable.
- You’re Number One!
To complete this Challenge, you need to win 5 Arena Fights in 1 day. If you have Guild Perks that increase the Number of Attacks, it will increase your chances of completing this Challenge. Once again, pretty hard, but still manageable, if you’re like me, a weak team in a strong tier. Pretty easy if you’re strong.
-
In this specific Challenge, if your team is still starting, you have to pick your battles carefully, without wasting any chances. Otherwise, if your team is already strong, you can just go all out, but picking battles carefully.
-
One tip here is to “throw away the fight” - replacing your team with a single Hero who is very weak. Then pick your battles carefully. That way, more chances on completing it will come.
Pick 'Em: These challenges are easy, only falling behind the Starter Challenges. But the difference is that, once you buy them with Diamonds, these challenges can be activated, restarted, or cancelled at will. The costs of the Diamonds range from 100 to 300.
- Bullet Train
Beforehand, you should have at least 750 Raid Tickets, 4500 stamina ready or, if you’re stocking up on those 60 Free Stamina Items, 75 of those stuff , and some extra diamonds, assuming you’ll do it all in one day.
To complete this Challenge, you need to Raid 750 times in the Campaign, whether Normal or Elite, in 3 days. You can raid 250 times per day.
-
To save Stamina, the Raids can be done between Chapter 1 - Level 1 to Chapter 6 - Level 7. If you follow the 250 Raids per day, you’ll need 1500 stamina or 25 Free Stamina Items
-
The Raid Tickets problem… it’s going to be a problem if you’re at a VIP 0. At least get to VIP 1 through Free Offers, you only need 10 VIP Rings to get to VIP 1.
-
- If you’re going to have to farm it (Raid Tickets) manually in VIP 0, don’t raid, chances are, that you’ll exchange your Raid Ticket for nothing or for another Raid Ticket. When going through the 3 waves, there’s a chance that you’ll get none or one without wasting any Raid Ticket.
-
- If you’re a VIP 1 or higher, just wait for the Free Raid Tickets, and while you’re at it, manually raid, so you get the extra Raid Tickets
If you got the materials: 750 Raid Tickets, 4500 stamina ready / 75 Free Stamina Items , a few hundred Diamonds, and 3 videos watched before Raiding for access to Multi-Raid, then you’re good to go.
- Defeated
To complete this Challenge, you need to defeat 5000 enemies in a single week, in any modes. An average of 715 enemies defeated every day. Heist does not count, I don’t know about sparring if it’s considered.
5 enemies in 1 City Watch round x 15 fights = 75 enemies defeated, at most
15 enemies in Coliseum x 5 attempts = 75 enemies defeated, at most
5 enemies in Arena x 5 attempts = 25 enemies defeated, at most
15 enemies in Guild War x 1 attempt = 15 enemies defeated, at most
So far, that’s only 190 enemies defeated, not counting Surge, Trials, Ports and Campaigns.
-
- This will be hard if you don’t have a strong team base and are only focused on your main 5.
-
- Stack up on those Free Stamina Items.
-
- Do Not Raid on City Watch, Surge, Ports, Trials and Campaigns. I’m pretty sure those don’t count.
- Fist Bump
To complete this Challenge, you need to Win 30 Friend Campaign Fights in 3 days. An average of 10 Friend Campaign Wins per day.
-
Like the You’re Number One! challenge, you have to pick your battles, unless you only have one Friendship Campaign Unlocked.
-
Every Friend Stamina counts. Pick Friend Campaigns that only take 6 Stamina, so you can save Stamina. As far as I know, without any upgrades, it takes 30 minutes to regenerate 1 stamina. If you have 30 stamina at max, it’ll take 15 hours to refill it.
-
If you have spare diamonds and only 30 stamina at max, use those Stamina wisely, win 5 Friend Campaigns that take 6 stamina and refill, and win another 5 that take 6 stamina. After that, take the time for the Friend Stamina to regenerate.
- Getting the Job Done
To complete this Challenge, you need to Claim 100 Daily Quests in 7 days, an average of 15 Quests per day.
You’ll complete this Challenge if you just play normally for 7 days, making sure to complete the quests. Here are the quests you can finish:
-
Finish 3 Elite Campaigns by either Raiding or Fighting
-
Finish 10 Campaigns (Normal or Elite) by either Raiding or Fighting
-
Finish 2 Ports (Warehouse or Docks) by either Raiding or Fighting
-
Finish 3 Trials (Blue, Yellow or Red) by either Raiding or Fighting
-
Fight in the Coliseum Once (win or lose)
-
Fight in the Arena Thrice (win or lose)
-
Put one Mercenary in your Guild Board
-
Hire one Mercenary in either City Watch or Surge
-
Do one attack or sabotage at Guild War
-
Win 1 attack in Creep Surge
-
Win 1 attack in City Watch
-
Win a round of Heist at any difficulty
-
Buy one “Get more Gold”
-
Finish one Friend Mission
-
Win one Friend Campaign
- Overcaffeinated
To complete this Challenge, you need to use 1000 energy drinks / XP Potions in a week. An average of 143 XP Potions per day.
- Just stack up on those 60 XP Potions until you get to 1000, activate the Challenge and just sit there and drain all of the XP Potions.
- Pure Sorcery
To complete this Challenge, you need to Enhance an unenhanced Purple Badge each day for 7 days. Unenhanced meaning a Badge that is to be enhanced has no points whatsoever, so when you’re just enhancing it, it should have no points nor stages.
It takes 1120 points to fully enhance a Purple Badge, so you should have 7840 points worth of badges ready for promotion.
- Skeleton Key
To complete this Challenge, you need to open 150 crates of any type in a week. An average of 22 crates opened per day.
-
The easiest types of Crates to open are the Gold Crates, which can be opened for 10,000 gold for 1 Crate and 90,000 gold for 10 crates.
-
You could finish the Challenge in 1 day. Just save up at least 1.5 million gold and open the Buy 10 Crates. Of course, you’d have to just sit there until you finish the Challenge.
- Skillmaster 5000
To complete this Challenge, you need to level up 50 different Skills in a Single day. Different meaning that levelling up the same Skill again won’t count towards the challenge.
-
If you only have White Heroes, it would be impossible. So far, the Heroes are less than 50
-
If you have Green Heroes, you would need 25 different Heroes
-
If you have Blue Heroes, you would need 17 different Heroes
-
If you have Purple Heroes, you would need 13 different Heroes.
- Star Catcher
To complete this Challenge, you need to 3-star every Elite level in Chapter 6 without using Purple 0 heroes or higher. Only Blue +2 Heroes or Lower are eligible to fight the Elite Levels to count towards the challenge. So, if your team base is full of Purple Heroes or higher, sadly, you can’t complete this challenge. You’d have to wait for the next batch of Heroes to arrive.
-
- The first Elite Level in Chapter 6 is composed of Creeps that have a Blue Rarity, 3 stars, and are level 44.
-
- The last Elite Level in Chapter 6 is composed of Creeps that have a Blue +1 Rarity, 4 stars, and are level 50
-
-
- It would be best if you’d max your Heroes that you will fight in these Elite Levels: Levels, Skills, Badges. But remember, no promoting, if you do so, your chances of completing this Challenge will be slimmer.
-
-
- It would be best if your roster is a mix of both Fantastic and Normal Damage. Brutes are bound to be there.
- Tanks for Nuthin’
To complete this Challenge, you need to beat all 3 Team Trials Modes (Red, Blue and Yellow) on Hard difficulty or higher (the minimum difficulty you can do is Hard) without using any Tank Heroes in 3 days, 1 Trials Mode for each day.
-
Set the difficulty to Hard, that way your chances of winning are increased.
-
Maximize your other Heroes (Damage, Support and Control) for the challenge.
The Ultimate Challenge: These 5 Challenges will test your over-all skills in Team Building, Bit Farming, and Token Grabbing. These challenges won’t be easy, but with your skills and team base, you’ll overcome these Challenges. Once you buy this book for 900 Diamonds, the challenges inside it can be activated, restarted, or cancelled at will.
- Star Light
To complete this Challenge, you need to get 45 stars from a single City Watch twice in a row, leading to 90 stars in 2 days.
-
- Every fight in the City Watch must be flawless. No Hero must be Knocked Out, else the number of stars will decrease.
-
- Maximize your characters. Switch if necessary.
- Damage Schmamage
To complete this Challenge, you need to 3-star each of the Three Team Trials Modes (Red, Blue, Yellow) on Hard difficulty or higher without using any Damage Heroes.
Kind of like the Tanks for Nuthin’ Challenge from the Pick 'Em Book. But the difference here, is that no Hero should get knocked out, and it prohibits the use of Damage Heroes, the Role comprised of the majority of the Heroes.
-
Again, set the difficulty to Hard, it increases your chances of winning
-
Maximize your other Heroes (Tanks, Support, Control)
-
Some Heroes that can do the job alone: Sulley and Boo from the Yellow Team, Mr. Incredible from the Red Team, and Ralph and Felix from the Blue Team. (Don’t judge me, I’m still levelling up my other Heroes)
- Evolutionary Science
To complete this Challenge, you need to Evolve (add to star to) 5 different Heroes in a day. Adding another another star to the same Hero, it won’t count.
-
Before activating the challenge, make sure you have the Heroes ready to Evolve already with those Chips. They can be easily Farmable through Guild Crates and Shops.
-
The less the stars of the Hero, the easier it is to farm the Chips, but remember, if you have the necessary Chips, move on to the other Heroes, and make sure to not use it on the Friend Missions.
- Shopping Spree
To complete this Challenge, you need to earn 25,000 Shop Tokens, from any Token Shop, in a week. An average of 3,572 Tokens in a week. Shop Tokens being: Arena, Surge, Coliseum, City Watch and Heist.
-
For City Watch, just collect your resets, that’ll give you 2, 000 City Watch Tokens in 1 day.
-
For Surge, Coliseum, and Arena, I think letting it stack in your Mailbox could work
-
For Heist, just play. The higher the difficulty, the higher the Tokens.
- The Color of Purple
To complete this Challenge, you need to Earn 100 Purple Scraps / Bits (whether it’s a Plan Bit or a Badge Bit, either could work) in a single day from any source (Trials, Raiding Campaign, Market , Mega Mart, Black Market and Badge Bazaar)
-
Stock up on Raid Tickets and Stamina, you’ll need it if you’re going to Raid from the Campaign
-
Try to time doing the Chalenge to the Double Drop Campaign event. You’ll be twice as efficient when Raiding.
-
Every Market Restart counts because there’s a chance that you’ll get Purple Bits from them.
City Patrol: Do you have what it takes to defend the City from the endless cycle of Creeps in City Watch? If so, then these set of Challenges are for you. Take on the City Watch and prove your worth to save the City from the Virus.
- Lieutenant’s Badge
To complete this Challenge, you need to earn 220 stars from City Watch Victories in 7 days. The difficulty can either be Normal or Hard mode. An average of 32 Stars per day. A Flawless City Watch grants 45 stars. If you keep up the Flawlessness, you can finish the Challenge in just 5 days.
- Maximize your other Heroes. You’ll never know when they’ll become useful in the City Watch.
- Captain’s Badge
Just like the Lieutenant’s Badge, to complete this Challenge, you need to earn 220 stars from City Watch Victories in 7 days. The difficulty must be Hard mode. An average of 32 Stars per day. A Flawless City Watch grants 45 stars. If you keep up the Flawlessness, you can finish the Challenge in just 5 days.
- Maximize your other Heroes, especially the Support Heroes. Judy or Woody is my suggestions on the Support Heroes. There are no Healing nor Energy Surge every end of the wave. If you want healing for the whole team at the end of every wave, I suggest Sulley with his Woody Disc.
- Powered by Donuts
To complete this Challenge, you need to complete a single City Watch on Hard Mode using the same Mercenary in every fight. That Mercenary must not be Knocked Out at the end of the City Watch.
-
My suggestion is that you use a Mercenary that is strong, but has a decent survivability. If your team is full on Damage, I suggest Hiring a Mercenary with a strong Support Skills, Judy or Woody for example.
-
There are no rules regarding that you use the same team every fight, only the Hired Mercenary. So, you could experiment again and again until you beat the fight, but make sure that the Mercenary stays in the fight as well.
- Toys to the Rescue
To complete this Challenge, you need to complete a Single City Watch using only Toy Story Heroes (Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Rex, Zurg). As much as possible, the City Watch should be flawless, as to increase chances of winning. The City Watch can be either Normal or Hard Mode.
-
Maximize your Toy Story Heroes, mentioned above, so that they can survive the whole City Watch
-
If a Hero is knocked out, Hire a Mercenary if you have to, but make sure to Hire the Knocked Out One. You see, you can’t use 2 Same Heroes at the same time.
- No Backup
To complete this Challenge, you need to complete a single City Watch without any Tank Heroes. The difficulty can be either Normal or Hard Mode.
-
Use Tank-like Heroes: Jessie or Scar. They can suck up the damage and heal.
-
Maximize your heroes to increase chances of winning.
On a Mission: These set of Challenges will test the Friendship of your Heroes. Will their Friendship be strong enough to withstand these Challenges? Or will they break?
- Best Friends Forever
To complete this Challenge, you need to complete ten 1-day Friend Missions in a week. An average of two 1-day Friend Missions per day.
-
I need confirmation on this, does Claiming the Challenge count as completing it? Because if so, you could just do ten 1-day Friend Missions in advance, activate the Challenge and Claim them.
-
- To unlock the 1-day Friend Missions, I think you need to level up a Friendship to Level 12, which takes a lot of Missions and can be done easily using the 10-hour Missions that grant Friend XP only or Mission B
-
- Unlock more and more Friendships and get them to Level 12 to increase chances of winning.
- Good Times
To complete this Challenge, you need to earn 20 Memories from Friend Missions in a week. An average of 3 Memories each day.
- Like the previous Challenge, to unlock Memory Missions, you need to level up Friendships to Level 12, do the Memory Missions in advance, activate the Challenge, and Claim them to complete the Challenge.
-
- Mission F or the 20-hour Mission that grants 3 Memories upon completion is your best bet. It is unlockable at Friendship Level 13.
- Group Effort
To complete this Challenge, you need to finish 25 Friend Missions in 1 day. Your best bet here are the 2-hour ones. Here’s a list of the Missions that grant the most progress. Courtesy of the Reddit Users , imgur.com and yours truly.

If you do those Missions altogether, you’ll have 23 Missions finished in just 2 hours. The only ones not here are Mickey and Olaf.
- Share the Love
To complete this Challenge, you need to earn 50 Friend XP from Friend Missions only in a single day. Friend XP from Campaigns and Daily Quests don’t count.
- Your best bet here are the Mission B or 10 hour Missions. Those grant 30 Friend XP at max in just 10 hours.
- Power Converter
To complete this Challenge, you need to earn 2000 Disk Power in a week by clearing Reinfections. An average of 286 Disk Power per day.
-
Just leave the Reinfections alone. Believe me, I’m holding out the Reinfections in mine for a contest and this challenge.
-
Maximize your characters. Each Reinfection is harder than the last.
Surge of Power: These set of Challenges will test your skills in defending the City against the Waves of Creeps in the Creep Surge? You and your Guild have to work together in order to do so. Teamwork makes the Dream work.
- Dances with the Mercs
To complete this Challenge, you need to Win 10 Creep Surge fights using a Mercenary that has a Memory Disc equipped.
-
- This really tests if you’re willing to use your Guildmates’ Mercs for your own use.
-
-
- Hire a weak Merc and put him in a team of strong Heroes. That way, you’ll consume less powerful Mercs while leaving the more powerful ones.
-
-
-
- It doesn’t say that said Merc has to be alive at the end of the fight.
-
- District Defender
To complete this Challenge, you need to win the last fight in a district 4 times in 2 days. An average of 2 times per day.
- The “last fight” means that for the fight to be counted, the fight has to clear a district.
- Knock Out
To complete this Challenge, you need to win 50 fights in Creep Surge in a week. An average of 8 fights per day.
-
Maximize your Heroes, you’ll need them for more fights.
-
Focus on the weaker Regions, like the 20th to the 27th. Those will make the Challenge easier.
- Creep Clearance
To complete this Challenge, you need to defeat 250,000 power in a single Creep Surge.
-
Try beating the Uptown District or Regions 10-15. That should give you an edge in this Challenge.
-
Maximize your Heroes, you’ll need them for more fights.
- Who Needs Tanks?
The 3rd Challenge so far that prohibits the use of Tanks… to complete this Challenge, you need to win 20 fights in Creep Surge without the use of Tanks for 3 days. An average of 7 fights per day. The fights without Tanks don’t need to be consecutive, there are some fights that you can use Tanks, but they won’t count.
-
Maximize your Heroes, you’ll need them for more fights.
-
Try and focus on lower Regions, like the 20th to the 27th, that’s 8 regions already, enough for the average already.
Weekly Challenges: 2 New Challenges come in every week. One easy and one hard. Do you have what it takes to complete them all?
- Shape Shifter
To complete this Challenge, you need to change your player avatar once per day for 7 days. “Per day” being the avatar change must be within the 5 AM Reset to be counted.
- Pretty self-explanatory…
- Thanks for the Memories
To complete this Challenge, you need to earn 10 Memories from Friend Missions in a single week. An average of 2 Memories per day.
This is like the Good Times Challenge from the On a Mission Book, but instead of 20 Memories, you need to get half as many.
- Overtime Pay
To complete this Challenge, you need to spend 500 tokens in the City Watch each day for 7 days. A total of 3500 City Watch Tokens.
- Get City Watch Raid Tickets in advance or finish them manually, get at least 500 tokens, spend at least 500, but not all of them, each day.
- Sparring Partner
To complete this Challenge, you need to win a fight using Chat Sparring once a day for 7 days as an attacker.
-
Help your Servermates here and post your weakest Hero, that way you’ll contribute to their progress
-
Look in the Chat, especially the Global Chat for weak Heroes and fight them. Make sure you win to make progress.
- Fruits of the Guild
To complete this Challenge, you need to open at least 1 Guild Crate each day for 7 days.
-
Each Guild Crate will be free to open every 24 hours, which is enough for the Challenge. You can pay 250 Guild Tokens to unlock 1 Guild Crate.
-
- Stack up on those Guild Tokens, just in case.
- Hired Guns
To complete this Challenge, you need to Hire 5 Mercs in the Creep Surge in a week.
-
-
- It would be best if you would just Hire 1 Merc per day, that way you won’t waste too much Mercs in 1 day.
-
-
-
- Help your lower Guildmates by Hiring their Mercs, even though the Merc’s weak, at least you make progress and give them Guild Tokens also
-
-
- Post Mercs daily, you’ll help your Guildmates too
- Maximum Productivity
To complete this Challenge, you need to complete every Daily Quest unlocked for 5 or more of the next 7 days. Minimum number of days is 5 to complete the Challenge.
- Pretty self-explanatory…
- Tanks for the Ride!
The fourth Challenge that prohibits the use of Tanks… to complete this Challenge, you need to 3-star every major level of the highest available Normal Campaign chapter on your server, without using any Tanks.
No doubt the hardest challenge so far, unless you’re part of the top 0.1% who blow money on the game. With the Updates frequently happening, you’d be far behind to complete this challenge. If you’re in the lower Servers… I think you’d have an edge on this one.
-
Maximize your Heroes, you’ll never know when they’ll be useful.
-
Use Tank-like Heroes like Jessie or Scar, who suck up damage and heal.
- Taking the Cake
To complete this Challenge, you need to increase your Player ----> Total Power by 10% in 7 days. (If you’re ranked 1000th, you need to get to 900th in 7 days to finish the Challenge)
- Promote, Evolve, Level Up, and make your Heroes stronger. These contribute to your Total Power.
- The Power of Friendship
To complete this Challenge, you need to win 50 Friend Campaign Fights in a week. An average of 8 Friend Campaign Fights per day. Easier if you’re in the middle, not too weak nor powerful and have a wide range of Heroes.
-
Maximize your Heroes, especially the Duo or their Allies, that increases your winning chances
-
Every Friend Stamina counts. Try to win every single fight so you don’t waste any Stamina.
- Cha-Ching!
To complete this Challenge, you need to spend at least 500 Tokens in the Surge Shop every day for 7 days, garnering a total of 3500 Tokens.
The number of Tokens depends on the difficulty of the Surge.
- Stack up on Surge Tokens until you get to 3500. At the first day of the Challenge, spend 500 on Hero Chips, but do not spend them all.
- Imperial Smackdown
To complete this Challenge, you need to Knock Out 75 Enemies with Emperor Zurg in a Single City Watch. To simplify this further, the Challenge says “Finish a Single City Watch with Emperor Zurg in every battlet”
Emperor Zurg doesn’t need to be the one to be Knocking Out the enemies specifically, he just needs to be on the team that Knocks Out the enemies.
- Maximize your Heroes, especially Zurg, he’s the most important part of the Challenge.
-
- Recommended Disc? Rex’ Disc. It gives him an edge when it comes to Tanks.
- Hire another Strong Zurg, just in case the first one gets Knocked Out.
