And the anvil is no longer there… but seriously it’d be too difficult to make a skillset that feels like Will. Something that occurs often enough that it feels unique to Will. Throwing hammers is not something Will does often.

Maybe he can be like Belle, he passively makes weapons, increasing Basic Damage. And then actively moving to the frontline and using weapons, dealing damage

I mean… I was mostly here for humor and gifs, I actually don’t think Will would be great. Game has plenty of Pirates of the Caribbean characters already. It only has 2 Darkwing characters so I would add more of them before returning to the pit of pirates for new game characters 
I really like this idea. Another option is that Will could play more into his blacksmith/father figure aspects of his character and be a backline support.
Again, almost any Disney character could make it into the game. Some just need a bit of extra creativity to make it work.

And TS has 9 times as many characters as Coco, Brave, Atlantis, KP, Sleeping Beauty, Mouse Detective, etc.
There are also other movies with only 2 characters in-game including Ratatouille, Peter Pan, WALL-E, etc.

The difference is the franchise level, Darkwing was not some one off movie like Wall-E or Ratatouille. Darkwing was a show (with an extensive product line) that contains more unique characters than fingers on my hand. Who do you want to add from Ratatouille or Wall-E? The food inspector and a fat guy in a floaty chair?
Both Pirates and Darkwing are full of franchise level lore, deep complicated nonsense, hence why the two are better comparison with each other rather than most of the ones you just mentioned
We never were comparing them. This is about PotC and not Darkwing Duck or any other franchise for that matter. You can hope for any characters you want, but please stop making everything about Darkwing Duck. Having common sense is also important. For example, knowing Star Wars will never come into the game even if you really want it.
