I feel like having wills moveset be part blacksmith part pirate is not only likely but nessacary because he is a blacksmith pirate.

Will could throws hammers. Forge a sword healing him. Use his unique sword fighting skills. Forge stronger hammers or sword making them deal more damage. These could all work.
You realize he’ll need an anvil, right?
Barbosa has a cannon an anvil isn’t out of the question.
A cannon has wheels. An anvil doesn’t.
Yeah the seal has a rock. The Rat chef has a cooking bench… So several characters have their tools/item with them

The seal attacks from a distant range. You two are suggesting that Will attacks within a melee range
That cooking bench has wheels…
Woah woah woah, all I said is that he could throw hammers. That’s a range attack
Will could have a projectile moveset. With his white skills having him come up momentarily to use his sword and the rest of his attacks can involve him weilding weapons and throwing hammers.
I’m not saying its likely or great but it is possible.
