Additional Stat Boosts Redundancy

I noticed a BIG trend of using Basic Damage and Skill Power (And reality, in some cases) being thrown around in red skills.

All the skills that have BD and SP

I’m not counting Scar’s or Merlin’s, as their BD is more unique. Also, BD is kinda useless for some heroes. Any thoughts about this and any stat boosts in general?

I think I first of all recommend reducing the images’s size some, so that we don’t have to scroll that long, as well as easier to compare characters at once :-).

If you could gather the pictures in a bigger picture sorted by year the character was originally released year wise I think also could be an idea.

Having some text at the top would also help I think, like you explaining what this post is about.

Jack Sparrow´s Red Boost should have been + X Basic Damage shared with Hearty Crew instead of + X Basic Damage. The biggest mistake ever made on a red skill.
Dash should have Skill Power instead of Basic Damage (or improved Skill Power on Fi and Vi disk)
etc.
etc.
etc.

The game would be so good if we could decide the red skill boosts, I bet you! Because we know the characters better in many cases.

Yeah. I always thought it was weird for Dash to gain BD with his red skill (both effect and stat boost) since he doesn’t usually basic attack. If his skills WERE to be scaled off BD (just white and green), he’d be too lethal.

The stat boost choices are strange sometimes, cause sometimes a hero’s potential isn’t in their basic attack. Honey Lemon for example.

honestly, green could be based of BD instead of SP tbh… not the white tho, it´s strong either way

BlackBOY@ True, but I think it would be a bit much to click on all the hidden ones to reveal them.
It would likely better to reduce the images’s size.

Although it would be interesting to see more heroes with something similar to Merlin or Scar, which can make them quite powerful.

I would say to change some of those statistics to "Evasion, tenacity, negations, etc which can make several heroes do something (Jack Jack, Buzz, Jack Sparrow, etc)

Talking seriously Dash is a special case of being an old but effective hero, to the point of needing a nerf which I find quite sad I’d say a little Nerf in Statistics would be enough, not so much to turn him into a randall

his damage on the Swift Strike should be nerfed

Though I am not the best at Red skills in terms of stats so not sure if I can comment on it.
What I at least think would be best would be if everyone got the same value just more or less per stat.
Like say if the max were a 1000, some characters would maybe get like 400-250-350 and another one 300-500-200, so in such a case the values would have been fair to everyone as they get the same even if distributed a bit differently how per value.

While not exactly in terms of Red skills, this does show the stat difference between older and newer characters in general to some degree:

Order: Basic Damage, Skill Power and Max HP.

Kristoff:

Kermit:

But yeah, definitely goes to show the stat difference between older and newer characters.
(HP technically dominate the third number so it is technically less useful, but yeah the other ones definitely do day something).

Definitely something to think about, and while ouch for the person who it, it would be really interesting to see what the stats for a R19 badged maxed and 6 star-ed Miguel would be as far as I know he never got a refresh. He was also the first main healer after Yax unless counting Sulley, so would be interesting to compare Miguel’s stats to newest of the new Suppert character’s stats.
