Allow Guild leaders to set which ranks can use extra war attacks

As the title says. A recent update on Server 12 made it so that only officers can use extra attacks. This necessitates making all of my powerful players officers, whether I want them to be or not.

I don’t know a lot of my most powerful players, I don’t want them to have all the power that comes with being an officer.

Previously my guild was fine as it was, people let the most powerful players take the extra attacks if necessary to clear rooms. Nobody complained. Now that I’m having to promote people there’s a ton of jealousy going around about why only certain people are being promoted, or why people who only joined recently are officers and they’re not. I cannot make all 50 of my guild officers, and I do not have the time to manage the jealousy of a bunch of people I don’t know.

Please make it so that we can change the rank required to use extra attacks.

If you’re the leader just talk things out and if they don’t listen boot them.

Make them officers, they can do the attack, then demote them…

The choice to limit extra attacks to certain ranks was requested by a fair few people because weaker members kept using Guilds extra attacks…

Also, get to know your guild more, or find a new system for promotion to certain ranks that will keep everyone happy…

I used to have three teams set on the wall, if someone beat the worst team they got Veteran, the 2nd team got Officer and the top team got Champion (they’d have to record the fight and join our Line chat to show they won)… Then when War came in I told my Guild that Rank will be determined by which car they were chosen to defend, and the better your top 15 heroes were the higher your rank - no issues with either system, and it didn’t matter how long people were in the guild - if a new person joined and beat the top car, they got Champion, or if they join today and have 3 excellent teams to fight a car, they get Champion…

Basically, don’t expect something that was just implemented at the request of loads of people to change because you can’t manage your Guild effectively…

That’s too much work for a casual guild and we’re an international guild so a lot of my players don’t speak English.

I see no reason why it can’t be a toggleable option, or even have the choice of choosing which rank it’s set at.

I’m not asking for it to be returned to how it was I’m asking for the ability to choose, why do you have to be so hostile towards that?

I dont think anybody was being hostile? They were stating their opinions. Also the game has a translate button. And like other people said all it takes is communication and direction. I think changing the war attacks was one of the best things theyve updated for the game

I can’t use the translate button if people won’t talk. The guild is casual so up until this change it hasn’t really mattered whether anyone is communicating, we just did our thing. A little bit of talking occasionally and it was working well for us.

Then I started promoting people and now I’ve got kids messaging me asking why someone was made an officer when they’ve only been in the guild 3 weeks compared to their 2 months when they haven’t said a word that whole time.

Again, I’m not asking for it to return how it was just an option to change it if we want to.

I mean at the end of the day if you want officers that are stronger that’s all you need to say.

Then tell the “kids” that Ranks are not determined by how long someone is in the Guild and that you consider other factors…

I run a casual, international Guild on Server 12 also, so there’s literally no discernible difference between our Guilds other than management style…

I’m sorry if you think I’m being hostile, I’m not trying to be… I’m trying to be helpful but I can see how I may come across as abrasive…

My point is this: The change to Guild War works for so many other people now, that the change itself is not the issue… There are ways for you, as leader, to manage your Guild better and you can’t be afraid of hurting a few feelings by simply saying “They’re an Officer and you’re not because they’re stronger than you”… And to @Enchanter_Boo’s point, there is a translate function, but just because you can’t use it as others don’t talk, THEY can use it when YOU talk, so let the Guild know what way you’re gonna run things, and then follow that process - post your criteria for each Rank on your wall, tell everyone to read it and speak up if they have an issue, if you don’t hear of any issues, make the changes…
