Arena matchmaking

How exactly is the arena matchmaking done? Is it based on your total power or the power of your line-up? I’ve balanced my power out across all my heroes and repeatedly get stuck for a week or two where I can’t do anything in arena because everyone else is crazy over me in power levels. Even taking my total power level into consideration, I can’t do anything.

It’s basically impossible to do this and remain competitive without spending exceedingly large amounts of money :stuck_out_tongue: it depends on your team level but generally starting out you want to focus on around 15, and at endgame any more than 50 is difficult

I think players are mostly assigned randomly into Arena and Coliseum leagues; if there’s any variables other than RNG I doubt they’re related to a player’s (or a team’s) power.

Another game mode unfortunately made less fun for the average player.

The rules are designed to promote players who spend money and therefore able to have more team power

So many time this has been discussed, but the team does not seem to want to help lower power players.

Yeah, I used to try my hardest most seasons in Challenger Arena, because there was usually at least a slim chance I could make Division I on the last week, and if I ended up in Division II, normally I could still get in the top 5 there. But now that one rule awarding points for most power pretty much guarantees I’ll never reach Division I, so I just play it safe and try to maximize the mod upgrades I get.

Power difference must be removed, it’s going always to one player to win with his huge heroes power

Other low power players will never win
