Hi guys,
What are the rules for this notification dot? I’m in first place in a challenger week and I don’t have any keys to unlock challengers and have fought everyone as much as able without using diamonds (due to the current contest). Not sure what else it is trying to tell me!

I think it might be because you need to reconfirm your Defense team (as indicated with the “Defense” button in your second screenshot being in green as opposed to greyed out). Just press it and, if you don’t want to change your Defense team any, just click on “Confirm” at the bottom.
Great suggestion, I hadn’t thought of that. I tried it just now though, and still the dot remains… What a mystery

Yeah, the dot never goes away. It’s so annoying.
Maybe if you spent diamonds, it would go away, but who would do that?
It’s been like this ever since they changed arena and coli. They are just two dots you have to ignore, just like you had to ignore the dot on Missions before they changed Missions.
You have to fight someone to get the dot to go away
