ATLA Concepts Series #4

FINALLY, part 4 of this series is done. Zuko is possibly my favourite character in Atla, so I hope this concept is particularly good :sweat_smile:

Also I’ll be only making 7 concepts in total instead of 8, don’t really have enough ideas for Suki, so yeah sorry about that.

Also first time I add a battle badge to a concept so yay lol

“WHY AM I SO BAD AT BEING GOOD?!”


Once an exiled prince seeking for honor, Zuko was shaped into a better self by the wise guidance of his uncle Iroh. With his masterful Firebending skills, he fights alongside his friends to restore the name of the Fire Nation.


Zuko is a mid-line damage hero


Trial Team: Blue

ANIMATIONS

Entrance: Zuko walks to his position with a Fire Nation helmet on. When he arrives, he throws the helmet away.

Victory: Zuko creates a little flame and smiles.

Defeat: Zuko falls on his knees and looks at the ground.


Basic Attack: Zuko shoots a fire punch at the closest enemy.


SKILLS

White Skill: Firebend Formations

Zuko channels his Firebending skills to attack his enemies, rapidly performing 3 different moves with different effects:

Fire Spray: Zuko sprays flames to the farthest enemies, dealing X damage to each enemy hit and Scorching them for 12 seconds. Scorched enemies have their attack speed reduced to 0% for 3 seconds if they’re damaged by a Fantastic Crit.

Fire Kick: Zuko sends flames to the closest enemy with a kick, dealing X damage and stealing 600 energy from them.

Fire Wall: Zuko unleashes a wall of flames that hits all enemies. The wall deals at least X damage, and the damage is increased by X for each enemy it passes through. Zuko always deals at least a regular crit with this move.

Green Skill: Tenacious Hunt

Whenever Zuko receives a debuff from any source, he gains 65 energy.

When Zuko reaches 1000 energy, he cleanses himself from all debuffs. Zuko can cleanse himself this way once every 7 seconds.

The energy gain is reduced against enemies above level Z.

Blue Skill: Flaming Sabers

Zuko sets his swords ablaze and swings at the closest enemy 3 times. Each hit sends a burst of flames that deals Y damage to the target and enemies nearby them, and Scorches them for 8 seconds.

Purple Skill: Unquestionable Honor

After Zuko activates “Firebending Formations” 2 times during a wave, the cooldown of “Flaming Sabers” is reduced to 3 seconds for 15 seconds and Zuko gains 90% Attack and Movement speed and X Basic Damage for the rest of the wave.

Red Skill: Rightful Heir

Zuko keeps track of the last enemy that debuffed him. When “Flaming Formations” is activated, Zuko removes all of the stacks of Hardy the target has, Scorches them for 15 seconds and deals Z damage to them.

Zuko recovers 100% of his missing HP if he cleanses at least 3 debuffs with “Tenacious Hunt”.

The Scorch has a chance to fail against enemies above level Z.

Additional Stat buffs:
+Z Armor
+Z Basic Damage
Fantastic Crits deal Z more damage to Scorched enemies

X = Skill Power; Y = Basic Damage; Z = Level Cap


BATTLE BADGE

Is charged in battle when: 4 or more enemies are Scorched

Buffs:

  • +Basic Damage
  • +Skill Power per blue team ally
  • +200 Energy

FRIENDSHIPS

Silences Invincible Enemies
Allies: Carl, Quackerjack, Hades
Friendship Campaign: Dragon Fire Quest

  • +Z Skill Power
  • When a support role enemy activates their White Skill, Zuko deals Z Fantastic Damage to them over 2 seconds
  • Whenever an enemy becomes invincible, Zuko silences them for 2 (+2 per additional star) seconds
  • When a support role enemy activates their White Skill, Zuko gains 40 (+40 per additional star) energy

Zuko - Manticore
Innkeeper's Rules
"Flaming Sabers" removes energy
Allies: Yax, Jim Hawkins, Basil
Friendship Campaign: Helping at the Tavern

  • +Basic Damage to Zuko and allies
  • +Reality
  • The AoE of “Flaming Sabers” is increased by 6% (+6% per additional star)
  • “Flaming Sabers” removes 50 (+50 per additional star) energy per hit

Ooh, fire.

I think he is better control cause of debuff counter.
But at the same time he does look like damage.

Seems strong.

I mean… it’s just a heal, most heals nowadays can max HP anyway…
