Hey guys! Bendy here! As a thank you to everybody for your support all year long, I am doing a Christmas DH giveaway! 2 lucky people will be randomly selected to win a $25 App Store or Google Play gift card to use in Disney Heroes (or any other game I suppose). To enter the giveaway you MUST include your DH in game name, Server #, and the FIRST FOUR NUMBERS in your Account ID in the comment! I will be checking!! You do not need to be subscribed although it is appreciated! :slight_smile:

Drawings will be on December 20th in a video! Everybody who comments will get ONE entry, I will be filtering out repeat comments and I will also filter by the word ā€œAccount IDā€ when I do the drawing. If the selected comment to win does not include all 3 requirements, it WILL NOT count and I will redraw a new winner. I will be asking for screenshots to confirm so the Server # and Account ID also must match the comment on this video. If you are outside of the US you may still enter but just know you likely will not receive a gift card, but some other equivalent or just straight up money.

EDIT: I changed it from the full Account ID to just the first FOUR numbers, just to be safe. 4 numbers should be enough to confirm anybody without dupes

nah they definitely can, my entire guild made our names the same one time

I think no, many people can use the same name.
just did and without issue changed the nickname to my guildā€™s champion.

this would be better to receive in a PM from the winners - technically this alongside username & guild is all the information one needs to ā€˜claimā€™ an account :face_with_monocle:

well, how would I know if someone didnā€™t just change their name and guild to claim the prize (I know its unlikely someone actually would do that but still, it could happen theoretically)

If they can provide in a PM after winning a screenshot of their Account page (with ID), that would be sufficient - forum accounts are derived from game accounts, and nobody else would have access to that screen

edit: ah I see itā€™s YouTube comments, not forum commentsā€¦ in that case I donā€™t know of a way to validate peopleā€™s YT account against their forum one. :man_shrugging:

I think this isnā€™t information to be considered for a raffle maybe Username and a way to contact them like Email or something else.

I understand the raffle and your intention but sensitive information like this could be used in wrong ways.

Ps. Not sure if Loutre or anyone else could give more information about what can be done and canā€™t be done here.

Not as much as your account ID in the game. Specially if you spend money in the game.

well, on the other hand, I wouldnā€™t want people to comment their emails or social media info either as they could start getting weird messages in theory too. I guess my thinking was that when I DM the winners I will ask for screenshots and Account ID is pretty much the only thing that somebody can not change in game in order to falsely claim the prize

well yeah, a PM is fine because Iā€™m sure everyone trusts Bendy, itā€™s just not ideal to have it out there for all to see
