Which character would be better to take the remaining one spot? please recommend

Angel and Stitch not even needed. You can as well use Shank and Duff instead.
I use Olaf, Ron, Kermit, Shego and Duff (formerly Drakken) and this works fine for me to get to tier 65 (using mostly just my own boss and the guild’s boss, I don’t really have a very active guild).
Occasionally a revive needed on Shego but I still
win the fight regardless. I only need 1 breaker and no boosts, and Kermit and Duff are the only Red heroes (unlocked Red Skill for Kermit but not for Duff) while the others are Orange and Olaf is the only one with a friendship disk (Felix), so pretty smooth sailing
Olaf takes the initial blast without issue, the Reflect and Invincibility from Ron and Kermit (duplicated by Kermit) take me through the rest, while Duff slows the boss down and his and Shego’s Shatter and damaging moves are enough to take him down

Animal needs his Gonzo friendship disk, and Stitch needs his Maui friendship disk; Animal’s disk doesn’t really require stars, but for Stitch you may need 5 stars.
If you don’t have enough stars on Stitch’s Maui disk yet, use Sheriff of Nottingham and a Slow boost, do the battle manually, and don’t trigger any white skills (except, optionally, Animal’s). Use Sally as your fifth hero (doesn’t matter how strong she is, thankfully).
