I play on server 21 and did some studying on the arena defenses and a common occurrence is the same 4 heroes in every line which makes arena not only extremely boring cause you crack 1 you crack all it kind of ruins the fun and the rules don’t really have much impact anymore like they used to.
16/27 has meg, 20/27 has ian, 18/27 has Zeus, 22/27 has angel, 6/27 has mim, 11/27 has hades in my arena league
My suggestion would be to instead of individual rules each week do a set of 10 heroes that are off duty each week and can’t be used in defenses or offenses to really add spice to it. Any more opinions on it
If points weren’t tied to time this wouldn’t be a problem. Everyone uses heroes that delay the clock to reduce the points the attacker gets after winning the fight. It’s so dumb. And the points received from rules are miniscule… if non existent
I do agree that needs to be scrapped it will really open up defense lineups
Really? You suggest off duty heroes in Arena? The “off-duty” nonsense is likely the most annoying feature in this game.
If I invest ressources in a hero I want to use him/her as I see fit since it takes really a lot of time or money to evolve a hero into a playable shape (discs, disc power, mods, badges).
I don’t want to be restricted by a game developer who gave up on hero balancing at least 2 years ago
If you are bored, don’t play arena. It’s annoying that’s a daily, too.
It would be interesting if they did off duties for defenses.
But it would be a pain if it took out half your team then be locked in to it for 24 hours.
Maybe if they disable like some of the skills that prolong battles, like Meg’s link or kronk’s lever
Once upon a time, when Challenger seasons first started, there was no “Quick Win” bonus. Result: most people just put one to five white heroes as their defense (or their weakest heroes, if they’d promoted everyone out of white). That’s even less fun to fight against.
I think the ideal solution would be to keep the Quick Win bonus, but to set up the other methods to earn points so that it’s possible to earn as many points through them as through a Quick Win; thus, if someone has a red-skill Hades and a purple Gaston just to delay the fight, you can use the other bonuses to still score as many points as a Quick Win, maybe more.
What’s really boring in arena is when you’re in challenger league, and you promote up only to find in the new league that you’re the underdog by 10 million power. And you can’t beat anyone and just sit there the whole week being free points to all these teams 3x, 4x, even up to 7x or 8x your own power…
I sent PB support a message about how stale Arena/Coli is and i urge you to do the same. Have gotten a few to send in now. They said they would look into it but i think we need to put pressure on them. Would be fresh for all if it got changed around alittle
