Brer Rabbit? Brer Fox? Brer Bear Perhaps?

I understand this may be controversial, but hear me out on this idea.

What if Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and Brer Bear from “Song of The South” and the beloved Disney theme park attraction, “Splash Mountain” could also join the lineup? And if they could, what roles do you think they would take and what would their skills be like?

In my opinion, I could imagine Brer Rabbit being a support hero- a skill I imagined would be that he could laugh (Refering to the Laughing Place) and his constant laughter could somehow give your team attack boosts or heal your teams for a short duration.

For Brer Fox, I would imagine him as either damage or control. But not keen on what his skills could become.

And Brer Bear is a no-brainer- tank. He could be like Baloo in some ways; but I would imagine his basic attack using his giant club to swing and whack at opponents. His skills I’m not sure of.

What do ya’ll think?

Welcome my friend, as a Disney fan and optimist, i would say "Yes! Abso-zip-a-dee-doo-da-lutely! But as realist, i would say i’m not so sure.

True, those short show little to no racism, but people might say “they are part of racist film. So is it will never happen.” Which i think is a little unfair on Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and Brer Bear’s part.

But who knows, Perblue could take them under consideration in the future. So, here’s hopin’. :wink:

I mean, yes I understand they originally were from one of Disney’s most controversial films to date but they surly are- if not some of Disney’s recognizable and iconic classic characters.

The fact they could also share and be a part of the spotlight in Battle Mode would make my day. But, as with a lot of our honorable mentions we’ll just wait and see what they come up with. :blush:

I think there was one short that had a very racist thing and then they forgot about it but I would love to see the fox and my favorite character Br’er bear

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic but ‘Splash Mountain’ is the log flume ride at Disney parks.

He’s referencing that Splash Mountain is being renamed as a princess and the frog ride instead.

That’s not what it sounded like and it’s still going to be Splash Mountain in Japan.

So they are just going to rename it, phew I got scared that the princess and the frog characters would actually be in the ride

No, Princess and the Frog characters are going to the ride and it is getting rethemed. Splash Mountain will be gone soon.
