Brutes should not be immune

Everyone has some form of normal damage, but not everyone has fantastic damage. Therefore while Skeletons are fine as immune to fantastic, Brutes are not ok being immune to normal. Make it so they have 75% damage reduction against normal damage, or even 80% or 90% whatever, but not complete immunity.

Excuse me but what are we talking about here? Cuz port and team trials both have heroes that can use fantastic damage if you select them and have them strong enough. As to the matter of friendship campaigns, one of the two characters will have at least one fantastic damage attack. There is nithing in game that is impossible. It is very hard and may take a stronger hero or a lot of patience.

Everyone starts the game with Vanellope, Ralph, Elastigirl, & Frozone. All of which have Fantastic Skills. You can’t decide you don’t want an enemy in play simply because you’ve chosen not to invest in a Fantastic DPS…

Before I get yakked on about Friendship Campaigns, Heist, & the like:

  • Friend Campaigns - if you’re struggling with Brutes here, take a look at your hero skills. See the ones with :sparkles:? Those are the ones you should be increasing.
    • If the :sparkles: doesn’t affect the White Skill, don’t play on Auto. Let the Green, Blue, Purple skills do their thing.
  • Heist - there’s no real reason why you should have trouble here (unless you’re in a random public). Encountering a Brute in an Ambush or Thief fight is 50/50, so why risk being unprepared? Have a Fantastic DPS ready & waiting for battle.
    • Again, if you’re stuck with heroes whose :sparkles: isn’t on their active White Skills, remove Auto.

Whilst I agree that it’s OK for Brutes to be immune to physical and it’s an acceptable challenge, why do they appear so much earlier than Skeletons when their immunity is a lot more common?

Skeletons are actually more annoying than Brutes… in the first levels, I lived off majority of my Main Team as Fantastic Damage because I’m expecting Brutes to appear in each Level. Once you get to Chapter 7, you’ll encounter Skeletons, who deal much more damage than Brutes. If it wipes your team and you have either Jack-Jack w/ his Violet Disc equipped or Mike w/ his Jack-Jack Disc equipped, you’re basically doomed.

I’m not sure why this topic keeps
Coming up. There is not level/friendship mission/ trial that isn’t able to be completed due to a brute.

I’m heist, if you are lazy enough to just click fight without ensuring you have mixed damage around u, well that is your fault and you deserve to take that L.

Please stop complaining about Brit’s people.

Yeah, before the update, all Friend Campaigns have little to no heroes at all, just creeps. Now the update came, the Friend Campaigns have variety of Heroes to fight.

Heist is the main issue really, you speak as if heroes do not get excluded… Also I cannot control other player heroes or those players themselves, if they take all the fantastic damage heroes and I am left with nothing to take? Then I wait to see if they play it smart and ofc they don’t and just start the fight like fools.

Generally though, what I really dislike with brutes is they are immune to any status effect from normal damage skills. Its just bad design.

My only issue with the brute’s immunity is in heist where you don’t have a lot of control of who gets called into the fight. I have lost thief fights because I didn’t have any heroes called that could defeat the brute…even though all the other creeps (including the thief) were defeated.

What I don’t like about them, this is predominantly a PVP game, no PVP character has total immunity to one type of attack.

So why does a CPU opponent?

Because they were created from the sMe force that pulled all the heroes into this game. They were made to protect the games coding. So of course thwy would b e immune.
