You pointed out a very obvious, though not generally known information.
Every meta dies because of a loss of popularity, not the effectivity. Most of the time Cheshire still yeets Darkwing, for example.

I just saw this and… yeah this is exactly my reasoning for considering most heroes viable to a certain extent, regardless of how popular they are.
Cheshire’s damage stats still look rather massive so I wouldn’t be surprised if he was a forgotten counter for Bagheera who can still work to a certain extent
