Everytime there is an update, I have to check if I can play using my wifi or not. If not, I have to depend on my mobile data for me to proceed to play properly.
I got the same problem. Game freezes on loading screen or just says that game cannot open.
Sometimes if the WiFi’s not working for the game, I close out of it. If that doesn’t work I use data to get in then turn WiFi back on when the game has loaded and then it works out okay (sometimes lags but otherwise good).
There isn’t anything in the game the would prevent someone from playing on a wifi network. The game just needs a strong, stable network to play. You’ll want to check the settings on the network to make sure it’s not blocking some connections (some schools and businesses do this with their wifi), and make sure you’ve go a stable connection. There’s also some network settings you can go over on your device to make sure it isn’t trying to control what network the game is using.
