You will reach Challengers after you’ve been in the Top 1 spot for a few days(I forgot the original time). Do note that it’ll be a rough ride to get there and lots of players might take your spot while you’re offline.
You need to hold 1st place for 72 hours.

It used to be worse. The timer long long ago back to the original 72h if you were not first. Luckily, it was changed and outside 1st place it just stops.
