Sometimes I don’t want Ralph in the front. Nick actually has more hp than Ralph, and depending on the enemy, I might want someone else up front.
Are you sure we’re talking about the same Nick? Because he is a Damage Dealer. He might have somewhat of a decent HP, but he lacks other defensive stats that could ensure his survival, you don’t want him up on the front!
Heroes have standard places based on their role during the fight. Ralph is a tank, and therefore he is always placed in front. Nick is a damage dealer and he needs to be protected for him to be able to do damage before being killed and is therefore in the middle.
There is a certain element in this game that requires tactics. Just like chess, you place your pieces in such a way that they can protect each other, but also complement each other’s positions on the field.
Jessie, for example, is extremely strong if left unchecked. This is why she is out in front, to make her vulnerable to attackers. As a defender, you have to support Jessie with heroes that grant her enough time to gather up enough energy and survive until she can cast her ability.
It’s decisions like this that make the game so interesting
