So the City Faire Contests is in about 18 hours. But there is something wrong with it.

Usually if there is a contest after an update, the reward is 50 (rarely 30) chips of one of the new heroes. Last week the “Fortify the Network” rewarded 50 Simba & Nala chips for getting 1M points. This contest doesn’t follow this rule, for it grants 30 Timon & Pumbaa chips instead of 30/50 Jafar chips. I think this is a small bug.

Another thing is that the placement rewards offer Simba & Nala chips. The issue here is that contests that have started the week before a new month offer sign-in hero chips. Simba & Nala aren’t sign-in heroes.

@Polaris is this really a bug? Or just a decision made by the admins?

One thing I would say about this contest is that the badges available to win are much more valuable than those offered in recent contests. Yes, there are less of them, but it’s nice to see relevant badges being awarded :slight_smile:

Yeah, I was going to comment on the small quantities of badges for the rewards. The amount that we will be receiving for many things do seem off. The chips, the badges, even the skill point refreshes are weird. 7? Why not something divisible by 5 like 10, 15, 20, etc.?

Also, the rank rewards only has the round border again instead of both the round and square border. Hopefully this is just wrong and will be changed before launch, because it’s quite discouraging otherwise…

I agree that the badges in the contest are more necessary than other badges in previous contest. But this topic is talking about the hero chips, not badges

I’m glad it it Timon & Pumbaa, they are the missing four characters in my game alongside Simba & Nala, Eve and Huey, Dewey, and Louie(But to be fair, no one has them)

They changed it so that you only need to possess 1 item to be able to use both borders :slight_smile:

But for server 2 it’s still Merida costume threads. I sell most of my threads and don’t even bother unlocking the costumes, but even I have Merida’s costume. I bet most of the server has the costume. And I’m sorry but it’s the weakest costume change available. A slightly different shade of greenish blue and a stripe. Come on.

Since the title only mentions the contest itself, I figured that it would work to just mention it here for the sake of not having another contest related topic just to mention the badges. If they view this one, more birds with less (spammy) stones.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I just remembered the first time this happened and they had to release the other one after the fact.
