Yo why the hell are there nearly level 120’s in city watch when the max level for a hero is 80? (Server 3) This is absurd, it’s nearly impossible to win the watch now.
The actual Team Level is 77, maybe your team power spiked incidentally, resulting in the rising of the Team Level in City Watch.
That is true, but the problem with this is that all of my heroes skills are ineffective because the opposing toons are 40 levels higher than my own. Frozone can’t freeze, Tia can’t silent, Ralph can’t stun, etc. They really are making city watch an unfair and unenjoyable game mode.
It’s all about RNG…
Naw man, the higher a heroes level is above a skill, the higher the chance is the skill won’t work. So with the opponents levels being way higher than my own, the chance of the skills actually hitting are way less than 1%. I’m not going to retry the same fight in city watch until I get extremely lucky. It’s boring and mindless
That’s why it’s all about RNG and chance. Plus, you should try and getting most, if not all, of your heroes’ energy to max. This will enable them to at least scratch the surface of your enemies.
Exactly, it’s a horrible system. Why render our super expensive skills useless?
Classic case of punishing progression.
im on normal mode and got lvl 140’s!
even on hard mode i tend to only get 135’s
i forfeited 50% gold bonus for nothing
This might be coming from a noob…(lvl 68) but I’m Nick is OP in city watch as is surge…
Ideally there would be a cap for opposing heroes so people who have the ability to develop everyone has a chance to finish CW. Of course if you gain energy for other damage dealing heroes who are not dependent on level, you probably could still beat CW. I’d say most people need to change their strategy rather than a major level adjustment for CW.
I think most of us know the only way to have a chance is to fight fire with fire.
But I don’t consider that a strategy, it’s just brute force.
The stronger we get, the expensive skills get…yet the game has a system to render skills that cost a serious amount of coins completely useless. Why develop characters that can stun, silence, curse etc if they will never work in city watch?
It’s flawed, plain and simple.
There are a couple other game modes besides city watch you know…
What are you suggesting?
Just because other modes are good that makes up for City Watch being broken?
Lemme give you a fact of this game: Not every hero is cut out for every game mode! That includes heist, arena, coliseum, heck even the campaigns. If you got a problem with it ok fine but don’t start whining just cuz your strongest team can’t beat the strongest citywatch…excuse me if I sound rude I do not mean to offend you…
I believe the point being made, is even if you had every toon unlocked and pimped to the max, many important skills would still be ineffective due to the level differences. He’s not “whining” about his best team getting beaten; he’s pointing out a valid issue due to the level scaling algorithm.
Now, if we had Bardbarian on our rosters…well…that’s a different story.
Correct whining was a poor word to use there … Complaining maybe? Idk and it’s not that important but …Perblue are you reading this?
No single team should be able to dominate ANY single same mode, including CW. Also no single strategy should be able to dominate as well. Granted not all heroes are equal, the other heroes use do not have to be of equal power to your main team. I’m quite convinced now that non-whales complaining about this aren’t charging up other heroes to full energy. People who aren’t adapting should be punished by not being able to finish.
Okay so non-whales should be punished for not having every single hero maxed out? That is the logic presented by the argument here or at least that’s how it seems to me. Plain and simple the system does need improved that is a fact and I will not waste any more time on this subject.
I apologize for going off topic here but could anyone explain to me how I change my profile picture on this discourse. I’m sure I’m overlooking it but I cannot find it lol
Bruh, simple… you can’t
