Is it normal for city watch on super hard to be LEVEL 176???
Woah! Now dat is very interesting.
This is even normal on lower difficulties. Region 5 is often all heroes with a ridiculous level, but most of the time, they are also all purple so they’re actually pretty easy to kill as long as you’re going into the district with multiple heroes with white skills ready to activate.
Well the weekly ward is armor increase on the enemies. So when I had my usual Jack Sparrow/Stitch/calhoun/Barbosa/ Bogo set they only did an average of 50-200 damage points per attack… so when I switch to an all Fantastic damage dealers (suly, Mike, zurg, Mickey, etc.) They just yet destroyed
At this point City Watch needs to just go away. Its not worth having it when they make it even more impossible to play it with these buffs AND still throw in teams lvl 124 orange 4 badges fully enhanced. A team they stick me with is a Ralph,DW, Baymax, Woody, Mad Hatter there is no effing way to win!
Sorry but I have to disagree here. CW is a few effective way to me (a F2P) to earn gold. So no, it can not go away.
Like I said many times before, you just need a right team formation and you can beat CW on any mode
And Yes, I have beaten Super Hard CW. Until now, only 1 time I fail because I was careless and made a wrong choice. Other than that, it’s fine
I agree. I have a new strategy for cw I’ve been using the last 4 months and haven’t lost a single time even on super hard. Many times the teams over our level cap their skills aren’t even maxed all the way so it’s def possible. On top of that, power means absolutely nothing compared to team composition. But this is also an RNG game too sooo…
How do you figure out which players to play together? I have a hard time beating city watch.
Nick and Sulley combo is a great start
With Hard mode, you only need a strong and suitable team. For me, I use Sulley (Woody), Nick (Judy), Olaf (Moana), Elsa (Olaf) and Maleficent (Ursula). You could also replace Mal, Olaf, Elsa with Moana (Mickey), Scar (Mal) and Barbossa (Stitch). Focus mainly on 1 team and you will be okay.
With Super Hard, you should have several main teams on stand by. With the buff ward, sometimes it’s hard to maintain a single team throughout CW. For my server (12), we got “Attacking Damage heroes do less 75% damage” ward, so my strong heroes are not so strong anymore. I have some extra ticket but I don’t want to use them just yet Saving for some rainy days
With that being said, for the first easy fights of CW, you should have these team ready with their energy full. Switch them between fights (not Nick) so that you will have a hand full of ready-to-fight heroes. And then, when you can’t beat the enemies at first try, at least kill off some of them, so that your second (or even third) could finish off the rest.
And base on my experience, normally at the 3rd of the 4th street, your heroes will start… taking a vacation (if you know what I mean). and from there until the end, you should have enough to complete CW. Hope this helps
It’s all about team synergy. Examples of synergizing your team are scare and fantastic damage, study and normal damage, freeze with charm, etc. You can also find synergy in characters by reading their skills.
Eve’s purple for example allows her to cause extra damage to disabled enemies, meaning freeze, stun, charm, etc. Therefore, she’s halfway useless to put her on a team with no disables. Not completely, but she cannot perform to the best of her ability without disables. The more disables you have with Eve the better off she will be.
Aside from synergy, you’ve got to find counters to who you’re going against. Brute Force only gets you so far. That’s why CW requires situational heroes since you never know you you’ll go against. Another example, always take Woody (Je) to strong backline heroes like Maleficent. The disk allows him to pull them in right away and have your team kill them off before they can ult. Good news about that is woody is almost universal. He has a skill that gives his team a bonus for attacking targeted enemies so we works on almost any team
Edit: I also agree with @Yunno. I have to use my entire top 30 to beat city watch on super hard regardless of what the ward is. This week gave them an extra shield so that was pretty rough
Lucky for me I just need to use half of my top 16 heroes for today CW. But again, you never know…
P/s: I only have top 16 for that matter :)))
