Oh cool, mostly got Explorer as well here :-). (I think K!ller should technically be 0 or at least not more than 1).

This is an another version I took before this :-).

Itā€™s good that the 2 different results are pretty much exactly the same, shows they are good tests

Might be the exact same points as they are so similar :-).

Also, while this text here doesnā€™t really mention story interest for Explorers is probably because these tests were done in terms of old MUDs, text based MMOs basically, so for reasons I am not sure why story isnā€™t mentioned that much as a core want for the Explorer type of player.

But I would say the Explorer are the type who seek story content and enjoy story content as they like to learn and discover new things, they being curious searchers :-).

To everyone who participated in the player type test I would like to say thanks and appreciate that you take part in this ^^.

Also, while this is a relatively small sample, it might be fair to say that the game likely has a lot of players who are primarily the Explorer type of player or have Explorer as a sub-type.
If the gameā€™s main demographic interest wise are Explorers and Explorer as a sub-type people, I wonder if Perblue should try to add more things into the game that appeal to the Explorer type of player?

Like a 3 friendship disk or to say a 3 option for a character to have a friendship with another newer character I think could be really cool and really appeal to the Explorer type of player.
Another option would be to increase the number of friendship missions a character can have, so like maybe to 20 instead of 15 what it is now.

While these would affect the Achiever too most likely, the Explorer would be the type who appreciate the new story content most.

I have another idea too which could be really interesting for Explorers, as well as kind of addressing another problem too a bit I think. The idea would be that they add another story campaign with a completely new story, though with that also bring the option of new places to grind badge and with the new badge places can remix what badges are together.
With the remixing the badges placement could make the badge grinding more efficient if they are more likely to have badges together that one need, like to say if Winnifredā€™s Spellbook, Lucky Egg and Sweet Tooth were together one could grind those 3 at once it would help a lot in speeding up the badge grind as you get less badges you donā€™t need that much of.

So yeah, what do you all think about all of these ideas as Explorer type of players? :-).
Of course other player types can say their opinions as well, so no worries ^^.

Thank you for participating as well you two and definitely clear that Disney Heroes appeal to people who are Explorer types of players or have Explorer as a strong sub-type :-).

Accurate, even tho there were some similar questions

Yeah, a fair amount of similar questions in it, but cool that you are also an Explorer type of player Phaldow :-).

I donā€™t even need to take the survey to know Iā€™m a pure-bred Explorer. I care so little about socialising and PVP that Iā€™m not even part of a guild, and as far as Iā€™m concerned making my heroes stronger is just a vehicle for getting further into the game and unlocking new story content.

(First to everyone: If thinking about that this hasnā€™t been commented on in 2 months, no need to say ā€œDonā€™t revive old topicsā€ as this post is meant to be something everyone can comment on whenever they find it and take part in the fun of talking about player types :-).).

Nice ^^.
You are probably a bit of the same kind of player as me and maybe even more of a pure-bred of the Explorer type player than me based on what you said :-).
I donā€™t mind socializing and trying to do an relatively okey team, but what have made me play Disney Heroes for about 2 years now since the global launch is the story content definitely, coming back for more story content as I unlock it :-).

Also, just for fun I thought I share this link as it pretty well describes the player types in a good way add a bit more to it than what I have written :-).

One thing though, I would say there are a sub type of the K!ller type of player thatā€™s the PvPer and is likely the type of player most competitive players are. PvPer would be the type that enjoy challenging other players just for fun and testing out strategies against other real humans, while the K!ller type of player would be the one that is more so the type to try and dominate over others and maybe be the more like the toxic kind of players.

I might have elements of the PvPer type of player if it is a fair amount strategic thinking, like to say a friendly board game evening with family and/or friends or like playing Smash with others.
I thought I clarify in case someone here technically like PvP, but donā€™t identify as a K!ller type of player I would think the sub-type PvPer type player feel more appealing and right :-).
