Anyone else noticing guilds who are inactive getting major points this contest!? Or players who have been inactive that have millions of points!?
Saving guild coin can make millions of points. My points are 2.75million.

I’ve had that in my guild. Apparently someone who hasn’t turned the game on for 18 days have scored 2m points. I’ve reported it to support, hopefully they can supply an answer/fix.
Glad to hear it’s not just my guild though if I’m honest.
We’re looking into it.

Like people who haven’t been on the game in 70+ days have 50 million points.

be willing to bet it has to do with the autocollect for guild coins… even on inactive accounts
Yeh i saw inactive people with points too… thats a huge bug… hope compensation will be good cause this game is going really bad… and if inactive quitters got points tht means people got rewards without really reach them…
I agree with Mokaone. The game has a problem after problem, delays, constant updates because of bugs they need to fix, which seems to create even more problems. Honestly getting tired of this.

I apologize about the contest points, and I’d like to give a little context on what transpired. With the 1.15 update, there was a bug where Guild Coins could be lost when players used the Claim All button. We fixed this with a server update, and then did a data dive to find who had missing coins. The list we assembled included players who had not logged in during this time period, resulting in Guild Coins being added to player inventories who had not lost coins. The timing was unfortunate with the guild contest running and the way we delivered the coins should not have accumulated points for those players. We do not have the ability to adjust contest points while a contest is running, so their points will remain.

@Polaris thanks for the clarification. I’m going to choose to believe that it’s just a cover story and actually you all just felt like giving us a helping hand in the contest as an early Christmas present. So thanks for that.
There has to be some sort of fix for this. Guilds with more inactive players are being falsely buoyed in this contest due to this. My guild is behind another guild that only has more points than us due to inactive players and this bug. This could be the difference between finishing in 3rd place or top 1%.

But it stands to reason that the guilds with high levels of inactive players have probably ranked consistently low (if at all) in pretty much all previous contests.
This is a genuine mistake, and by the sound of it one that couldn’t be foreseen. Don’t worry too much about one contest, be happy for the guys who will earn rewards that they wouldn’t normally stand a chance of getting and know that you’ll be back on top next time.

But it’s not. There are some guilds that have very high ranked people and could be ranked #3 on the server with a few inactives they hold onto for war defense. Now they’re getting a boosted contest score because of it.
