I’d be nice if these boxes told us how much we have so we can better decide which item would be better to claim.

Ordinarily you would see how many of each item you currently have when you press on it (like you have done in your screenshot). Perhaps it just doesn’t show it for memory disk power as it is to some extent a limitless resource (like gold).
It also doesn’t show the amount for any of the other currencies (e.g. war, City Watch, Surge, etc.)
But you can exit and review ypur supplies and then go back to make your decision…it may take time, but it is a solution.

It presumably still tells you how many, for example, badge pieces you currently have?
As for the various currencies, to some extent it doesn’t matter how many you have. You’re always going to need more at some point. Whereas, again as an example, you might never need stone guardian bits again so it’s valuable to know how many of those you have.

I never said that the badge bit owned amount didn’t show. I just said that the currency amount never showed.
I understood that. I was simply trying to give a plausible explanation as to why there would be a difference in what is shown for currencies and badge bits.
