The contest said, i can get score when i ‘earn’ money.
But the money that i earn from selling the xp drink, it wasnt counted as score.
(Actually all the money from selling)
I just want to know if its bug or on purpose.

Also. It’s for spending gold. I believe the “earn” is a typo. If you select the gold on the scoring page of the contest. It says “use gold”

I don’t think it’s a typo.
The contest is based around Aladdin, who’s whole motivation is to get gold (that’s why he goes to the cave of wonders).

Didn’t find the “Use” word anywhere, both contest description and point list say “Earn” 
Yet it’s not so important, the main thing is CW. If you use Aladdin and Genie +Merc each day in the Surge and manage to complete CW with Aladdin and Genie with no losing them eack day, you will get more than 1M points

I know when give credit when someone earn it @Polaris congratulations for this event, is made to get more that enough points to get us to the 5 star reward so if we mess up in something we can still able to get there. This is the kind of event we like and love. Congratulations and good job in this one.
Edit 1: Looks like at least basing in my score currently in server 2 and considering the stocked city watch perks. Without them or in other servers i can’t give a comment.
I don’t like this event, because both Heroes are new on Server 16, I have only Aladin but not skilled every much

I guess, that’s because your server got them so recent.
Are you sure of your math there? On server 8 it doesnt seem possible:
City watch:
- 5300 per toon per battle
- 2 toons, 15 battles, 3 days
- 5300 * 2 * 15 * 3 = 477000
Surge:
- 12800 per toon per battle
- 3 toons (assuming you hire one), 1 battle each, 3 days
- 12800 * 3 * 1 * 3 = 115200
Gold:
- 500k from city watch (rounding up)
- 1M from surge (rounding up)
- 1 point per 71 gold earned
- 1,500,000 * 3 / 71 = 63380
Total:
477000 + 115200 + 63380 = 655580
Thats a 344,420 point shortfall from 1M
To make that up as a F2P without badge tokens, i need to earn (344420 * 71 =) 24,453,820 gold from “somewhere”… I dont know about you, but that doesnt seem possible.

Well, I counted it for server 14…So, I guess, you have to use more mercs

No it doesn’t, it lasts for the same amount of time everywhere
For Europe, Friday PM -> Monday PM, 3 days.
But yes, one can do their tasks 4 times, no matter what time zone.
Surge and CW gold gain is also heavily dependent on your level / guild’s level. The numbers quoted are quite low - on S3 at level 114 I get around 840k from City Watch and well over 100k per Surge win.
There’s also bonus gold buy event on right now - don’t think that’s a coincidence - so more points can be had for diamonds if you wished.
Not forgetting all the various other ways of earning gold, which are not inconsiderable once added together.
It should definitely be possible to hit 1 million with a little effort!

Well, it still lasts 72 hours, but in our region it is Friday evening when it starts and Monday evening when it ends.
People in the US can still benefit from their 4th ‘day’, depending on their guild time settings and what time they wake up

Yes, Gain Gold is correct. And it is intended that it only be gold gained from playing in modes, not from selling items. The rules in the game have been clarified, and an announcement made in the game.
Servers 13, 15, and 17 have the contest start earlier that all the other servers, due to their geography in Asia. Those players who sold items trying to gain points should send in a ticket to support and we can compensate.

You are also getting gold in Invasion, campaigns (all three types) and even finishing quests. All of those count. Sure, it’s not a lot, but it can add up. Server 3 is also getting 10 points per badge token spent. Those are usually excluded from the City Fair contest.
