Davy Jones game mechanic

Since the Patch Talent “Cruelty” was introduced it has severely reduced the specialness of Davy’s friend disk “Bad to the Bone”. Yes this disk applies to all allies but that doesn’t matter cause most heroes that have a curse skill have the Cruelty talent too.
All heroes have two friend disk options so losing one isn’t the end of the world but now that Davy has been refreshed, like so many heroes, one of his disks had the level dependent stats boosted to the point that it makes no sense to use the non-boosted one. So our choose was made for us and it demands we be stuck with a reminisced skill.
Sadly, the most ineffective choice was made to give Davy the Cruelty Talent. So now the disk skill is completely useless (unless somehow having over 100% heal block does something worth while like cause healing to do damage instead, which is actually a skill another hero already has).

Please consider fixing this. And please do so by giving “Bad to the Bones” a new skill. A single change to fix several redundancies. Maybe give Davy a way to curse more than one target at a time. Or a self support skill like cleanse.

Would love to see this. His curse-focused kit with a single one-time curse is what has always been limiting his potential

Something like “When Davy Jones triggers Dead Man’s Chest all enemies are cursed for X seconds” would work really nice imo

Davy Jones’ kit itself isn’t bad, what makes it bad is the way the teams in this game work. Nobody carries teams that have synergy between them, most of them are about carrying op characters or carrying counters for op characters.

One of the reasons synergy teams don’t work anymore is that there is a ton of cleanse and Emerald and some friend disks can give so much Tenacity or Evasion that disables/debuffs (which is one of the main synergy links) aren’t as useful right now. There are also heroes like NegaDuck that punish hard for dealing out disables/debuffs.
When there are heroes that can deal Trillions of damage before your team can move, synergy doesn’t matter.
I see tier 4 Talents changing that a little and encouraging some synergy but there are just so many Nukes out there it is a game of mutually assured destruction.
