A ‘lighter’ question for the whole team -

What were your personal favourites for the ‘Emerald’ Colour & Name, out of the poll options available to us?

Were there any other ideas that didn’t make it into the eventual polls?

There was actually an internal poll of even more names before we landed on emerald. My personal old favorite was Verdant which never made it to the larger poll, but Emerald was my second choice!

The Stamina Consumable only have “Use 1” & “Use 10” options. Is there a plan to also implement the “Use X” button here like the other items?

When we can no longer Power Promote due to lack of Gold, we can’t use a lot of Stamina Consumable immediately and it’s tiresome to press the “Use 10” multiple times (this is when we buy deals with a lot of Stamina Consumables). And we would like to use it before the 24 hour bonus runs out so there’s a time pressure there.

• friendship stamina is very low and the refresh rate hasn’t changed at all despite having 6x heroes. Any indication of when this will be adjusted for?
• mercenary cost review, has this been declined indefinitely or are you looking at this again now that Emerald pushed power through the roof again?

1. We looked at friendship progression and saw that it’s right around intended, but I’m happy to consider giveaways or free rewards for events to give friendship stamina consumables!
2. We’d like to review Power scaling during our QoL changes, which could result in merc cost reviews!

Sometimes we skip Heroes during a Patch Season because we want to do a Kit Refresh for them in the future so keep an eye out for that!

There’s a few heroes in the upcoming Patch season who could use a Kit Refresh rather than a simple buff, true, so I understand why time constraints limited the selection this time around…

But…

If the Incredibles trial has Ian, or Pegasus, or Rose, I worry it may be simply impossible to complete with the selection of heroes available. Are you going to be testing what’s offered for each trial to make sure they are at least beatable, or is it possible to restrict certain heroes from appearing in certain trials?

I’ve noticed an increase in Disney TVA characters which I am really happy about. we got Jake Long, Monkey Fist, Negaduck, and now Rose is this intentional or are you running out of Disney/Pixar movie characters?

We still have a lot of characters from Disney/Pixar movies we’re pitching. Like a lot of people mention it takes awhile to start and finished new heroes, so it’s intentional.

F2P players are getting badge priced out of the game. A single emerald badge can be as high as 600k+ stamina

In 4 weeks around 1-1.2M at best. Those are 2 badges with double drops ewww. Very low indeed.

The easiest change will be to change the formula to the Gold yield of a Surge District as mentioned earlier. Or at least like 2x that at most.

A plea here, at least for The Incredibles Trials would it be possible to sort out new or recently refreshed heroes (at least till around Baymax)?
Or computer generates the lineups freely?

1 How often do you consider/read what’s actually posted on the forums for actual game play?

2. Why is every quality of life improvement seem like it’s only “fixed” through deals people buy instead of actual help like lower badge costs? (Agree with @The_Real_Numi , can we ftp get more help and feel more valued)

3. Why so long of a break before when came to guild perks (thanks for releasing more the next update other the war ones)

4. How many levels of emerald will there be? Will we have another color of game is still around sooner than emerald or will it be like yellow to y30 or more?

We can consider that Use X button for Stamina Consumables, but unfortunately not for Premium Stamina Consumables! Thank you for the feedback.

No. It’s true we’ve used it in the past, but the DHBM Community is huge. Trying to moderate that many people and keep track of everything would be too much to take on. Sorry!

Hey Mickey_Fan_2023! I hope that you are doing great today!

Wonderful question! There have been some challenges on designing Heroes, however, taking on those challenges proved to be an amazing experience and seeing players enjoy those Heroes really made it even more awesome! As a designer, taking on challenges is one of the many incredibly fun tasks to embark on!

As for who the funniest Hero to design was, I’d have to say Pegasus would take the crown! He has such a fun, joyful personality! He, like all of the other Heroes, was an incredibly wonderful experience to design!
