Diamond Purchases Not Cash Deals

With the April update our server switched from all deals being diamond based to an actual monetary amount. Reasons I am not in favor of this change.

1. Makes the “free to play” players begin to dislike the game. This game has been wonderful because the option to not dump money into it and still be competitive is rare in games today. I believe many people will not be interested in continuing to play because it costs. Before it was like our hard work and discipline of not spending diamonds paid off once a month or so.
2. The deals since the update have been far from “valuable”. I am not sure what the algorithm is but everyone in my guild has been unimpressed with the deals and their value.
3. I understand your need to make money on us. It seems like greed right now though. I don’t think I am alone in this.

You’re not alone. I had built up something like 15,000 diamonds, now they have little use to me. I don’t want to use buy more gold, buy more stamina, arena chance reset, colisuem chance reset, etc. They were a poor use of diamonds before; now after building up my diamond stash, a decent portion of which involved real money, this change has devalued every dollar spent and every diamond acquired.

I reread the post detailing the changes for the newest update and saw nothing about diamond deals being eliminated in lieu of real world currency only. @Polaris I understand you’re the administrator/moderator, đo you have any information you could provide, my guild and many on our server (13) are far less than pleased.
