Today is the day.
The family Madrigal have officially arrived as Encanto hits theaters.

Watched the movie today. Loved the visuals and music. During the “What Else Can I Do” song hit it with the park on visuals and was really meaningful.
Now, with how Lin Manuel wrote the music. He did amazing. He stated in an interview that he traveled to research about the music in Colombia and he definitely didn’t disappoint with it. Really recommend listen to some of the music.

Really confused why Mirabel didn’t get a gift, it wasn’t really told within the movie. Maybe holding the family together? As shown when they’re done repairing the home, and her family trusts her to open the door which leads the magic to be back.
Next, I liked how it really dived deep into Luisa’s and Isabela’s problems, with Alma, maybe with Bruno. I generally think this is their downfall. Just to infer that all the family members have some sort of problem which is hiding behind their gift.
Basically my thought process so could be wrong.
