That is one of my favorite couples actually.
She was attacked by apes, and then a strange man saved her from them, he seemed to have a great interest in her,.when she taught him how to read and the many other things, he quickly fell in love with her.
And she, soon fell in love with him. A cute story, even if it was classic Disney and not realistic, but disney never is so, it is okay.
