So, I finally have gathered my thoughts.
Spoilers for LOKI
Basic Premise/Details
-
So to begin, I love how it opens right after Loki gets the Tesseract in Mongolia. It honestly reminds me so much visually of Iron Man 1. Just goes to show how much the older movies still are impacting the MCU even to this day.

Speaking of the other movies, I find it so incredible how Tom has been able to act just like how he did in Thor 1 and Avengers (2012). Like, the man hasnāt changed appearance wise or acting wise. Tom never fails to amaze me. Incredible is not even the word for him.

Speaking more on spoilers, I absolutely love how Lokiās dramatic and personal trauma has came back to him in this show. He starts off like his typical self, being aggressive, arrogant and mischievous with the TVA but then at the end, he comes full circle, seeing his fate and how he finally makes amends with his brother by giving his own life for him. He went from hating him with a passion to being so proud of what he had become to then dying so he could go on. Loki is just a tortured soul and I really love how the scenes of him crying over the losses of both his parents shows how vulnerable he is. Really taught me a lesson that showing emotion is not only normal and should be but is also healthy. Itās something I really will learn from this show.

Going into the TVA though, seeing how they operate is insane. Time in Marvel has always been very fun and crazy to play with and this show is doing it perfectly. Easy to follow and understand and quite creative. Such as the Time Lords and what they do. Not only is it very reminiscent of Doctor Who but it is also a hidden cameo, I think. One of the Time Lords looks just like Jonathan Majors, the actor for Kang. This wonāt be like the Mephisto or Wolverine rumors, Iām 100% for sure Kang will at least be mentioned or maybe even shown to some degree in this show. He fits in perfectly. If not this season, next or 3rd. Probably 3rd since it most likely will be out right before AM&ATW: Quantumania comes out

Seeing the Loki variants like the one from 1858 is really intriguing me. Like, the rumor of Lady Loki, maybe Kid Loki and tons of other versions of him. Itās almost for sure Hiddleston Loki will not be the only Loki in the MCU anymore. I hope that doesnāt mean the end of Tom Hiddleston, but even if it does, that doesnāt mean Loki dies with him no longer playing him. However, it could be possible that Tom still plays them, just deaged in the case of Kid Loki or feminized as Lady Loki but maybe sheāll be played by someone else as the rumors currently say. That and the DB Cooper Loki have me fascinated. The Whovians and mystery fans are going to love this, Iām sure.
Thoughts
So yeah, not much to say here actually cause while the episode was incredible, it was a very dialogue and exposition based premiere. Introducing us to Mobius, who is very fun and entertaining, Ravonna Renslayer, who seems cool and has a lot to do with Kang in the comicsā¦and Hunter B-15, whoās not only cool but very funny, lol. And obviously, the character that obviously shines. The true fan favorite that almost everyone unanimously loves. Miss Minutes. Nah, jk, sheās good but of course Loki himself is amazing. As always but Tom is really knocking it out of the park here.
I find it amazing that the three first D+ Marvel shows are all featuring fan favorite characters that have experienced lots of trauma in their lives but still are very endearing, entertaining and interesting. Wanda, Bucky, Loki, even Sam I guess to a degree. The actors for these shows finally get their chances to shine and Loki so far is no different from the other two. Whilst there shouldnāt be a comparison, I will say, I believe this show will not disappoint like how the other two in certain areas. While there will always be haters for everything Disney related, I would say you can count on this show hitting in itās high areas and being not only a true comedic and entertaining adventure filled with exposition and development for Loki himself but also new information about the wider world of the MCU and how we can more easily digest the future with things like Multiverse Of Madness and No Way Home. The MCU, whilst not having people like RDJ, Evans or Johannson anymore seems to definitely still have great things ahead and Loki is just the beginning. Any Loki fan will love this. Not only is it a love letter to his fans but to people that loce science fiction and anything weird, fun or exciting. A truly great beginning and Iām super excited to see where it goes from here.
TL:DR.
Stayed up all night to watch Loki and was not disappointed. Was a Hiddleston/Loki fan back in 2013 and always will be. This show just adds more to the fandom and it proves it will never die because Loki never will. Resurrections always this time. Sorry, raisin man.
