Disney+ Original Series Discussions!

Finally watched the episode and OMG

Summary

I actually loved the opening scene. Agatha Harkness is such a good character! She is one of my favorites now I think.

Yep. And see how she became the Scarlet Witch and the reason for everything in the show. We knew she was the Scarlet Witch, but now we really know!

 I love that

Hayward very suspicious. Confirmed he is up to no good with the credits.

I cried. I think it was kind of wholesome in a sad way. I think the horror elements were Agatha All Along. See what I did there?

It will be really interesting to see if Agatha becomes more prominent and stuff. Also how it will all end!

Agreed.

Is this Mephisto? jk

Nope. Kathryn Hahn, the same actor, did the version on the show and for the soundtrack. She just made slightly different choices, which is 1000% ok and awesome! I did not know at first, but when I found out I was so happy. She is an amazing actor and if they create a Tangled live action I would love to see her as Gothel. I know this is off topic, but I thought I would mention it.

Overall I was blown away. Cannot wait for next week!

small spoiler

Small detail but in the flashback with the bomb there was a hole in the wall, but in Age of Ultron didn’t Pietro say a big hole opened up in the floor?

Small detail but I think it’s weird

Wanda and Pietro possibly remember it differently.

Did anyone think that deserved to be flagged?

I haven’t watched the episode yet
:weary: It is so hard not to read here

I feel your pain. We have the same pain waiting for the final episode :joy:

What was it flagged as? It broke no rules.

Summary

Possibly because

This???

ANYWAYS

  • The intro was
interesting to say the least. Maybe it explains the YoMagic commercial from episode 6. (I wonder of YoMagic comes in Blueberry and Grape flavor lol)
  • Essentially Agatha gave Wanda a therapy session in this episode before nearly killing her children. (Which I hope they’re real, considering the Young Avengers is planned)
  • Where’s Darcy, Vision, Monica, and Fietro? What will they do in the Finale?
  • Prediction: The Vision in the mid credit scene will be controlled by Wanda and become the Real Vision again, and they’ll live happily ever after.
Summary

Finished the new episode and what I said about Agatha being like Ursula a while ago is even more true. Also this could be a coincidence but agatha’s dress when she tried to kill the kids was ripped at the bottom and looked like tentacles, like Ursula. I’m not saying that this is all proof or anything but it would be cool if her personality was based off of her, also she seemed like gothel a bit to in this episode.

Summary

The other vision that was powered by a Stark bomb looked a lot like Tron in my opinion

I did not flag any post

Spoilers

Yeah. It was great. I hope they are real too considering the new avengers they are bringing in. This story is (semi) happening in the Disney parks too through what the guests are in the new land coming. I hope Squirrel Girl can join in this at some point.

I wonder the same thing. I think they will be major in it. Lol Fietro.

While this would be great, I think Wanda needs to accept the death of Vision in order to move forward. Having a happy ending for her is not good for her mental health.

Meh

Summary

I too liked seeing how Agatha got her powers (As well as Wanda, who I did not know that is how she got her powers)

Not to much to say that hasn’t already been said but I guess I’ll say this

Spoilers

So I like the added backstory given to Wanda. It makes sense now that she always had the power but the Mind Stone brought it out, and the connection to Vision makes more sense now. Everything just makes more sense which I appreciate. But part of me wants to ask this question now, and I would be really interested to see what you guys think

Do You Think MCU Wanda And Pietro Are Mutants? Or Mutates?

Obviously as we saw in TWS and A:AOU, Wanda and Pietro were experimented on, but here we learned Wanda always had that power and that it was just brought it through the Mind Stone. But does that mean she was born with those powers? If so, she would be a mutant. Or if she got them after birth, then she would be a mutate, like Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, etc.

Or perhaps she actually is a Inhuman. This may sound crazy but like it could be possible. Inhumans are born with their powers but it takes them a while to be brought out. Still, I don’t think this is possible. Idk, still a good episode but I just really thought long and hard about this.

Oh, and also I hope we see a slow motion Quicksilver running scene in this show. With of course a 80s song accompanying it.

I’m pretty sure they were mutants because terrigen wasn’t used so inhuman is ruled out, Wanda showed signs of power first so if it was the experiments that mutated them she shouldn’t have had any power beforehand

Mutants like Wanda have signs of power that get stronger over time, so her powers appearing before Pietro’s completely make sense based on the scale of her power compared to his, so it’s likely there are lots of people with mutant genes already but the reason theirs came first was the experiments sped up the process (possibly like the hex did to Monica, assuming she had underlying mutant genes)
