And they only allow characters from WDAS. Not Pixar, blue sky, touchstone, etc. that is why roger is not in the short, even Jack from NBC, which also makes sense.

Geez-ums, that’s a HUGE reunion!! O_0
Once Upon a Studio is on WCO. Should I go for it?
Just do it
I’ve watched Once Upon a Studio, and…
BEAUTIFUL!!! :’)
Just watched it myself, and yes, it was a pretty lovely short. Have to admit, my favourite part was Stromboli making angry Italian noises at the vending machine, this caught me off guard for whatever reason
And also Elsa is a jerk. I know you and Hans aren’t having the best relationship, but he still deserves to be on the photo, no need to stop him.
I kinda wonder how it was even made though. I heard that when Disney were making the Mary Poppins remake, they had troubled with the animated segments because of either animators being retired or not having the proper equipment.
Yeah, it’s not like he tried to kill her or-- oh.
But he did make it. Take a closer look at the photo. He’s between Grand Pabbie and John Henry.
When watching the 100 year anniversary for Disney, I realised it was my favourite short ever! I am really grateful about it! But maybe they could’ve put Giselle from Disney enchanted?
The design of CGI and 2D really mix well together, but I could’ve recommended turning them all in 3D, and could’ve focused more on the whole focus. But Tarzan, Dinosaur, Home on the Range and Bolt were unexpected.
There were more than 150 characters and featured our favourite Disney characters, I found the 100 anniversary short really fascinating!
Some of our favourite characters who were featured- Ariel, Simba, Elsa, Anna, Tiana, Mulan, Pumbaa, Timon, Bolt and many more of our favourite Disney characters were featured!
Yes, may they create more Disney characters! I was intrigued to see so many Disney characters!
I loved this topic @Mister_Toon!
Was she a Walt Disney animation studios character? Because this short includes characters from WDAS only.
Oh sorry…
How were they unexpected? This short teased that basically every single Disney character was going to be in it. Blockbuster hit or not.
I also gotta admit I was a little sad that Br’er Rabbit/Bear/Fox weren’t in it, but I was expecting it since of all the recent controversy.
Yeah, it had to be done.
I think what really made this short film was all the archived stuff they pulled out. They used voice actors from Disney Era such as Sterling Holloway, Verna Felton, and Clarence Nash not forgetting that they too committed to Disney’s legacy. Getting actors like Jeremy Irons and Tom Hulce, who haven’t voiced their respective characters in a decade and getting arcived recordings of Pat Carroll, Billy Joel, and Robin Willams is a real nice touch.
And isn’t great how things went in full circle for Alan Tudyk? He based his performance of King Candy off of Ed Wynn and he goes off to voice the Mad Hatter (a character Ed Wynn voiced) more than a decade later.
Happy 100 year anniversary disney!
