Dumb Question about Goofy and Anger

So Goofy with the Mickey disc gives all allies a shield and let’s them resist disables when he uses “How To Goof” But Anger resists disables on his own and gets a stack of rage each time he does so. So my question is: Will Anger get a stack of rage when he resists a disable while shielded by Goofy? Thanks.

I wouldn’t call that a dumb question

I don’t think Goofy’s shield that avoids disables would have any effect on Anger. He still would gain rage stacks when he avoids a disable with or without the shield.
