Actually, Auto is not exactly a villain.
He is a robot following his programming, that makes it unfair to call him a villain, like if a person is hypnotized into doing something wrong, nobody calls them the villain…

I never understood al mcwiggins as a villain…at all, i mean the main villain of toy story 2 is the prospector(and yes i called him the prospector…deal with it) but al just couldn’t collect this victory
