So the minimum of 2 damage, for those who have extra Defense that might be 1 damage. So like 1-3 damage potentially with 1+ in Defense I assume. (Is this right PawpsicleSticks?).
In this case, it is better to hit enemies with lower HP and higher attack.

I think it’d make more sense to calculate the 50% damage reduction before defense, so since Kira has 1 DEF, the crab’s attacks would be nullified even if a 2 is rolled.
