Friend campaigns ( good or bad)?

As a big Disney fan, I love seeing characters from other movies interact, like Angel and Miguel. However, I feel like the friend campaigns with characters in the same film(s) clog up opportunities for more interesting friend campaigns. Other then the main characters in the storyline, I feel they are annoying. Anyway, I would like to hear your opinions!

I see what you’re saying, but I think it’s okay for some characters to have campaigns with other characters from the same universe. After all, this is an entirely different setting for them, so they may even get to do stuff here that they wouldn’t be able to back home. And it allows us to see more of their character dynamics together, even beyond what we already know of them from their movies.

Yes, but it was like Felix and Calhoun for example “so, weren’t the events of our film interesting”-Felix “WOW. The city is cOoL”- Calhoun “oh no! There is a creep over there” - Felix

Well, that’s only one example. But that doesn’t mean all same-movie campaigns are like that.

Take one of my favorite movies as an example: Zootopia.

Nick & Judy: We know that Nick becomes a police officer at the end of Zootopia, but here (and in other Nick campaigns) we actually get to see him working on the police force.

Finnick & Judy: We don’t see these two interact a lot in the movie, and here we get to see how Finnick’s more criminal know-how actually benefits Judy in her investigation.

Yax & Finnick: An unexpectedly hilarious combination that we never see in Zootopia. Yax tries to help Finnick relax, and it causes Finnick to step outside his comfort zone.

Yes, also Darkwing/Nick is they solving a case, I consider that campaighn really cool.

I haven’t seen that one yet since I don’t have DW Duck yet…

When you unlock it I recommend making it, not only for the camapign, the disk is useful too.

I’ll definitely look into it. I mainly want him for Hiro’s DW disk, but I’d also like to see how the KP/DW campaign plays out (story-wise, not disk-wise, obviously).

Why? the disk is pretty useful in a lot of teams

Please. The only scare teams you see nowadays are the ones with Cheshire Cat and/or the Slinky/Fear combo in them.

But let’s not stray too far off-topic here.

About Finnic not getting enough screen time… he is just not a main character. I do also feel that the friend campaigns all rely on one trait of a character, example Rex.

This is kinda like into the Disney verse

I am a sucker for crossovers, and for me i sees friendships as a definite win for peace across the Disney multiverse.

But it’s good to have something familiar now and again. It also good to experiment a little and come up with something totally unexpected. Let me list some examples:

  • Timon and Pumbaa/Scar
  • Emperor Zurg/Buzz Lightyear
  • Captain Hook/Peter Pan
  • The Queen of Hearts/Alice

You would never suspect them to be friends not after what happened in their respected movie. I would not be surprised if they added more frendmies in the future like Triton/Ursula or Ratigan/Basil
