It honestly doesn’t sound like something that’s impossible, there are many parasites that already control minds, and with them evolving, this is definitely possible. Parasites always want to reproduce, so if this one reproduces via TikTok, it would control the host’s brain to make them do TikTok. T. Gondii, an already existing parasite, can only reproduce via cats. So it controls the host’s brain by forming cysts which get rid of fear and decision making. For example, in mice, instead of them being repelled by cats, they are attracted to them. This way, the parasite can reproduce.
