What is it with calling updates “beta”?

So a “beta” release is like a datamine. Except it covers 2-3 months of all events, emojis, ect.
I guess “patch notes” here are equivalent to Emoji Jenny videos/articles.

Mostly because they’re not in the game yet and I haven’t seen any customs, I would love to see a simpsons emoji. I’m not asking you to do it I’m just saying since the titanic, anistasia, Ron’s gone wrong, and ice age are in the game it’s only a matter of time before we get a homer emoji
