General Suggestion: Make this game scream “Disney” more loudly

This is a general suggestion: Can you make this game more Disney?
Because right now it does not feel very Disney— it feels a little, but not very.
I can’t be the only one who feels this way. So far, this game is packed with obscure Disney characters. Quorra? Shank? Tia Dalma?C’mon, you can do better than that because Honestly I never even knew Tron is Disney until I played this game. Where are the bona fide chars like Pooh, Donald Duck, Alvin, etc.

Yes, we have a few, such as Mickey Mouse, Disney’s poster child. But he really deserves to be at least an A+ char it’d even be OK to make him an S char, but he’s just a B+ char at best (rough estimate).

I understand that you might be saving the classic ones as aces up your sleeve for future sales, but C’mon, let’s make this game scream “Disney” louder

Mickey is widely considered as one of the top tier supports in the game definitely deserving of either A or S tier.

As for the main point of this post, does it have some more obscure characters? Yes but you cannot deny that this has some classic disney charm and new blood added over the years. Frozen, Toy Story, Sleeping Beauty, The Lion King, Hercules, Moana, Zootopia, Monsters Inc., Aladdin and more are on display with representative characters. Not even to take into consideration characters mention in friend campaigns and movies/shows referenced in the badges including DuckTales, Kim Possible, Newsies, Fantasia, The Princess and the Frog and many many more.

Just because the game does not include some of your favorites does not mean the game is any less Disney. How’s about instead of setting expectations for the game it doesn’t currently meet we take the game as is and learn more about one of the biggest and most beloved universes in history. I like yourself didn’t know who Tia Dalma was other than knowing she is from Pirates of the Carribean. Doesn’t make me like her any less not seeing the source movie. It just gives me something to look forward to seeing and learning about.

Lol, preaching platitudes. The problem with it is that it prevents improvements.

Don’t get me wrong, I freaking love Tia in the ring for her stats. Also, I acknowledge we do have toy story char. And I’m probabaly gonna get trolled for this—but I don’t even like Pooh, I think he is a sociopath.

But this is a general suggestion because in all the other theme games, such as looney toon, marvel, dc, their brands are all very clear. I’m not saying those games are better— I like this game’s mechanics, but it’s brand image could be improved.

Also, regarding your statement on Mickey being A / S— i disagree. And I do think our arena agrees either.

I think this game feels very Disney. Especially when hey add Elsa and Olaf.

Also, most would agree Mickey is easily A+\S teir

I never said that those characters aren’t deserving of being in the game nor that they will never be a part of it. All I said is that people should be thankful for the game and the heroes it does have and also take a look at all of the different references that aren’t characters.

I don’t know what arena you are in but P2-Challenger Arena on S4 has Mickey inundated everywhere. He has a 50% damage boost to all allies, a massive single target heal, grants energy to heroes, and has a 30% regen attached to his 50% damage buff. That is also before disks. To think that such a kit isn’t worthy of at least A tier is just plan ignorant. At least imo.

People could make the argument that they are trying to shine some light on less known and newer Disney movies. People would get mad if they only included classic characters and princesses. They are probably trying to keep a balance between all of their properties. Of course, they could always make more references to classics and leave more obscure movies in the shadows. Or maybe, they could keep a balanced amount of references between properties, and make people grin when they see funny stuff, like a Ducky Momo badge or a funny name for a character’s skill. Anyway, obscure Disney properties are still Disney properties.

Also keep in mind marketing. Anything marketed as Disney is aiming for a younger generation, since older people will check it out for nostalgia. The franchises they’ve used are the most well known and recognizable ones for kids these days. Something like Winnie the pooh or Snow White may be second nature to adults, but if you ask a kid about Disney princesses and the like, their response will be Moana, Elsa, characters from current generation movies.

Unfortunately sad, but very true. In this day and age children just don’t care about the old stuff. Addimg Frozen was Perblue 's smartest idea yet and it wouldnt surprise me if the number of players skyrocket because of that. Frozen is (or was) the third most popular as far as merchandise goes being beaten only by Star Wars and Cars. Then you go an add Pooh to this game a stuffed animal. A toy. Thhe movies he is in is mainly characterized by running away from scary stuff and teaching kids basic lessons while annoying rabbit with a tigger. Personally kinda love this movie but…i dont personally wanna see it in game. Any who…

To make this game more “Disney” I propose that the heroes isnt the problem. To be honest, yes it doesnt seem very disney to me. A bunch of Disney Characters joining together to fight a bunch of creeps…that doesnt scream Disney to me. Whhat would make this mpre Disney would be the music. Imagine beimg able to hear some of you favorite Disn ey Melodies while playing this game. Characters are a major point of thus game but so is the badges, the campaign, the music. None of it screams Disney to me. This doesnt bother me though. This game isnt really Disney Canon to me which makes it a way for Perblue to get money and Disney to get advertisement while keepong players interested. You wanna make this more Disney? It would have to become a whole different game. I think that it is just about as Disney as it will ever be.

agree with the most but no the badge part of your statement, the badge is full of disney’s easter eggs, I don’t know what’s more you are expecting to see, literally every single badge is a disney reference.

Who is the bona fide character Alvin?

@Vicavolt I am not saying that the badges do not have enough easter eggs. Just saying that it is a main part of the game where they can (and do) show Easter eggs.I

From what you are saying lighting mcqueen and metar will added at some point as cars is even more popular than most of disney s movies even its third movie was before a year so its not that old at all

I agree. Since they also listen to their users in forums, at least for heroes (villains, Jack Skellington) i think it is safe to say that if enough people want em they will come. And recently the number of people that want em have increased.
