Gold crates should be scaling with each new badge rarity increase. You have done a good job scaling gold from surge, and now daily stamina caps. The max badge rarity from gold crates is long overdue. Purple bits as a max is kinda laughable for the types of badges that are in the game nowadays.

Rather… Diamond Crates should be refreshed and the old Diamond Crate drops repurposed into a crate sold for gold.
In fact, Diamond Crates give even less than Gold Crates. Both in Hero Chip and Badge terms.
If somebody is asking why - almost all purple badges given are useless after Y10. And thus it is a glorified Gold Crate that gives orange badge bits.
Diamond price for it is horrible and elsewhere they are given out like candies.
From Gold Crates when you sell all the stuff that is possible to be sold… you at least get half the gold back (could get more if you could sell excess hero chips).
From Diamond Crate you don’t get anything “back” if you purchase it with diamonds - hence why at Diamond Crate Discount event everyone is throwing a 
face.
Even 98% off it wouldn’t be worth it atm.
