Please add chat channels in-game dedicated to players that want to post up their creative guild recruitment messages. I want to stop posting my massive guild recruitment messages on the Global and VIP channels and feel less bad about interrupting other peoples conversations.
I don’t know about all of you, but if I was having a pleasant conversation with another person and some rude rando came at me and slammed a wall of text into my metaphorical face demanding I join their cult or whatever I would be pretty irritated lol
Some Actual Points

De-cluttering the Chat Channels
I’ve noticed that guild recruitment messages have become larger and larger as time goes by. Whether it’s trying to cram as much details about their guild in chat or making increasingly creative and eye-catching messages, these guild messages can be a little disruptive in chat. Having a dedicated chat channel for guild recruitment ensures that guilds will have an outlet to sell their guild without cluttering the regular chats (Global and VIP). -
Not Being Silences by Mod Bots
There have been some incidents where players have been chat silences by bots for posting up their guild recruitment messages. It’s an honest mistake since bots aren’t perfect, but it’s better than having an actual person monitor the chat 24/7 because that’s just exhausting. Having a dedicated channel might lower these incidents as bots can be programmed to allow guild recruitment messages to be posted frequently in the designated channel and not accidentally label them as spam or something that violated the code of conduct. -
Chat Cooldown on the Guild Recruitment Channel
Now of course there will be cases of people abusing this channel, especially if they’re a little too gun-ho to sell their guild. Copy-paste spam can be a problem if a guild tries to spatially bully out other guilds’ recruitment messages. So a solution to this would be to implement some kind of chat cooldown system on those who post on the guild recruitment channel. Maybe allow players to post once every 5 minutes (or longer) in that channel to reduce potential conflict.
