Guild Wars Balancing

So with Season 1 almost over on majority of servers, I think most will agree that it’s based 90% on power and 10% on teamwork at the top end of the leader boards.

On my server the Guild in first place has 29.51 million power, 2nd 23.29 million power and 3rd 20.09 million power after this it goes lower in smaller amounts. Now it is impossible for anyone to beat 1st place, and 2nd place only loses to the guild in first place.

This creates a fight for everyone to stay out of second and third place as its an automatic loss and you are punished with a loss of upto 50 MMR which puts you out of contention for top 5, i’m sure this is sort of the same across all servers.

I think we should be given a base hero 5* max skills, no enhancements for any hero that a person has unlocked. They should also get a 1 star disc at max level for any discs unlocked.
I’m in the second best guild in my server and next season it will turn into 1st place verse 2nd place the entire season until we lose enough MMR to drop down with everyone else, the people in first place don’t even need to try really as they are guaranteed a win.

If this is done it will balance out the top 50 guilds in each server to a point where you need to rely on team work, tactics and the knowledge of which heroes counter which to win. It will mean that any guild has the possibility to come first and the guilds with more heroes and discs still have a slight advantage for the work they have put in.

If nothing changes people will lose interest in Guild Wars extremely fast.

While I get where you’re coming from, Saying strong peoples heroes should be ignored and given a base hero is definitely not a good idea. Like it or not, they paid quite a bit of money to get their heroes to where they are… ignoring that would cause huge problems. The only reason people pay is for pvp modes, they wanna be stronger than other players. Telling people that have spent thousands that it will be ignored in the only true PVP mode in the game would be a disaster.

Arena and coliseum are ok, but the auto lock prevents full strategy from being used. War is what PVP should be, minus the off-duty heroes

I don’t think it’s a poor decision nor do the people in the top 2 guilds on my server. You are still going to be rewarded for having better heroes. I’m in the guilds where we don’t have to do anything to win. For 99% of the guilds we could not attack and win from defensive points. I don’t find that fun or a challenge, they may as well just reward us on Guild rankings because this isn’t a war, this is avoid who ever has more power than you.

Fully agree - at the moment it is not tactical at all for the top guild - its a smash and dash - Brute force attack - there is nothing tactical about it - people strive for a challenge - yep there are lazy ones out there that want the easy run in

My guild is ranked 23 on server 3 and the strongest person in our guild have 500k power. We have gone up against Myrmidons twice and lost because the weakest person in their guild has 500k power with the strongest having almost 1 mil. So its unfair on both sides. To beat guilds who have no chance against you, and be beaten by guilds you have no chance against. I highly doubt they’ll leave it as is though. They’ve only just released it so we will just have to sit and see what they do to tweak it. But really, if they were to change it that way, it could prevent some guilds from having any chance at ranking up. So idk. It seems it must go based off power to some extent because my guild has only ever gone against top 50 guilds in my server.
