Heist & Disc Power

When will we have an adjustment / scaled approach to disc power for heist? We have minimal ways to acquire disk power as is. Missions and city watch are capped unless you get speed ups (not worth it for disk power) or extra chances at city watch (helpful but not very lucrative). We have a set amount from invasion, again minimal. Heist offers a way to grind for disk power. However, currently it requires 141,500 disk power to elevate one toon from disc level 250-255. Heists on shocking difficulty pays out 4,500 per heist.

That is 32 heists for one toon to level up their disc each update!!!

I know disc power shortage has been discussed for awhile now, but I think that heists are an obvious place to have adjustments made.

The short answer is that it forces people to spend money.

There are many many topics discussing this, but the fact is that the game is dying quickly and people are quitting quickly
So they probably won’t increase this because it forces people to still spend money as a last resort to get revenue.

I understand this and generally agree with your statements. However, I posted to point out the deficit specifically related to heist. Maybe, just maybe, they will consider reevaluating the scale of disc power rewards for heist when it is shown in simple terms. I can always hope, right?… right?…

Heist is just a dead, uninteresting mode that people only do for contest points.

A Y12 difficulty will surely be intriguing if the rewards were at par with what we need - but I highly doubt the team would do it, since the last Heist difficulty is R7 (aka 25 ranks ago or 2 years) - the mode has just been neglected for that long.

@Loutre is there any discussion from the team about modifying heist or the rewards in the near future?

We are planning on looking into heist once some other things have been looked into, but I can suggest to the team just looking at rewards for right now as it may be an easier process.

While you are at it, @Loutre, can you ask the team to add a hero fight counter during heist? That way, we can know how many fights as have had, so we wont have to find out once it ends. It helps so much as it is hard to keep up

That will be more difficult to get added, but will give them the suggestion.

It is hard? I thought a board with number shown in it should be easy :sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile: I’m not a code writer so I don’t know :sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

We would also need a UI artist to look it over as well as devs to get the code in.

would be nice to have heist giving at least a level´s worth of disk power instead of like a 1/5?
