So apparently once you get over 2.1 bill coins it goes into negative and once you restart the game it vanishes into nothing.
So selling orange exp pots for gold turned into a nightmare because I’m out a ton of exp pots and gold now.
This needs to be fixed or refunded. I have screenshots of the massacre that has happened to my bank.

Given PB’s usual reaction to players having large amounts of resources, I’d be surprised if they don’t go into convulsions reading that. But high-fin on your achievement, Mr. Megawhale. You have earned my respect.
Yea, I saw these screenshot, that’s really sad and weird that PB add some caps on gold at some rate.

That also happened over on S3 to one of our members. I believe that this is a known bug. …that’s why I keep my gold below 2bil by buying gold crates
Can confirm this is a bug, I have a friend in the same situation.
This exact bug was also present in DS. It was ‘fixed’ (more circumvented) by applying a hard cap to Gold at 2.1 Billion.

It’s so funny, a very popular ARPG I played had the same issue, here is an extract from Wikipedia that helps explain the issue
The number 2,147,483,647 (or hexadecimal 7FFF,FFFF16) is the maximum positive value for a 32 - bit signed binary integer in computing. It is therefore the maximum value for variables declared as integers (e.g., as int ) in many programming languages, and the maximum possible score, money, etc. for many video games.
Yep, you hit the max, and it rolled over to the min. Since we don’t allow negative resource totals, it reset to zero. We have a server update scheduled tomorrow, so we’ll add in a hard cap, so gold doesn’t disappear into the city.
