Trivia
-
His name refers to the common term for a power outage.
-
He bears a resemblance to the Changelings from the television series, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, as both are black skinned, winged individuals with white eyes.
-
Although Blackout has wings but cannot fly, his upgrade, Cloud Gravity, from his “Prince of Darkness” allows him to fly over enemies for a short time.
-
There is a glitch that if the “Cloud Gravity” is used and then the auto-cut scene interrupts this attack, Blackout becomes invulnerable to all attacks from enemies and Trappable Villains, and never loses health. This works in all levels and on any difficulty setting. After this glitch is performed, the player can keep this glitch even if they can change the level infinite times, switch to a playable villain or fall off the platforms. The only way to cancel out this glitch is to either remove Blackout from the portal or simply perform the “Cloud Gravity” again. This glitch was removed in Skylanders: Superchargers.
