This only occurs in arena
That’s because you can’t turn AUTO off on Arena and Colosseum. In the first shot of the battle, the triplets are the front most enemy because of their early skateboard attack, making them the automatic choice for Meg to link with.

They aren’t supposed to be. If you look at the lineup, goofy is the first toon in line. In auto mode, Meg automatically chooses the first toon to link to. If you use this setup in Coliseum and spars set to auto, Meg will link to Goofy. However in arena, and only arena, she will link to Huey, Dewey and Louie instead.
Good on dude this is a meg mechanic The FIRST character in front ON THE BATTLEFIELD NOT THE UI will be linked. since the skateboard gleaned of everybody megara instantly links with the duck trio.
Sorry I meant hold on dude the megara mechanic is that the first person in front ON the battlefield where the actual fight is going on will be linked so because of the skateboard going ahead of everybody else megara instantly links with the duck trio
I’m curious why Meg links to Goofy in Coliseum and Spars, but links to Huey, Dewey and Louie in Arena
