Ian's reflect ending early

That would explain why your ian doesn’t have the disk from goliath and unequipped. As other people say here that you wanna get your ian’s disk to at least 4-5 stars, and maximize the disk level. This isn’t a bug nor glitch as other ppl say so this is normal.

If the disk from goliath is unequipped, not yet acquired, and/or switched to merlin’s disk, reflect will not apply to him if there’s another backline hero.

Then shouldn’t they change Ian’s purple skill description, because it says they both get Reflect for 5 seconds.

THE PURPLE SKILL says only the backmost hero gets reflect for 5 seconds.

THE DISK says that, when an ally gets reflect (including the backmost from Ian’s purple), Ian gets reflect for 1 second per disk star.

So if the disk doesn’t have at least 4 stars, reflect won’t last more than 3 seconds. Really it’s super simple, how did this discussion even last for so long…

The bit that says ‘including himself’ is describing the backmost ally, not the Reflect. If he were to also receive it then it would say ‘and himself’.

‘Including’ implies he’s part of a group to be chosen from, ‘and’ would suggest he’s considered additionally.

If ian is the only backline hero, he would get reflect to himself. If there’s any other back line hero besides him, they would get reflect instead of him also if it helps with you a little more, kermit can duplicate reflect if him, ian, or both have the buff however this will only work when kermit’s energy is full and max white skill level and it has a chance or won’t work if the allies’ level are above the kermit’s white skill level.

Well, thank you

As per the theory, Goliath disk gives a reflect to Ian if any ally gets any reflect from any source -that includes
any hero or by Ian himself- that lasts x seconds depending on stars of disk during the fight.

Ian’s purple, applies reflect at start for further back ally and himself that lasts 5 seconds and skill need to be equal or higher than ally level to be applied on back ally.
If this doesn’t work, then it’s a bug and need to be checked by perblue

Why hank killed him? Maybe because of hank’s green skill and ian not saved by healers in the used team

Read some counters lists, it says hank is a counter for ian

Maybe @Ioutre can help on this

No it doesn’t :man_facepalming:

I don’t get how this is still a grey area as the skill pretty clearly states that only the backline ally (including Ian as an ally) received the Reflect. If he’s not the furthest back he will only receive Reflect if he has his Goliath disk (or another Refkect source is present).

Does anyone one the team your facing have the ability to remove buffs

Then perblue needs to modify the sentence

(Including Ian himself as furthest hero if no heroes behind him)

@Ioutre

The sentence is understandable.

Literally nothing wrong here.
Ian isn’t even new.

Maybe for yourself, not for many, idk why ppl like you doesn’t like things to be corrected as it should be!!! Weird

The sentence makes perfect sense to native English speakers. Maybe if it’s your second language it might be confusing but there is no reason to change it. It’s clear and succinct as is.

Even a slight glance at the Goliath disk makes you get the idea that the reflect from purple skill only goes to one backmost hero, be it Ian or not.

Still any one on that team have a buff removal Skill?

None of the enemies they were facing could remove buffs, besides, we already know what happened, people not understanding Ian’s purple skill.
