Did you have auto off and changed the game or possibly it all luck
My auto was turned on at that time.
It is quite common for this to happen when an identical lineup of lower power faces someone. It’s basically because your Merida took damage more quickly which led to her power bar filling up faster. So she fired her special first and killed the higher power Merida.

for me. Thanks, My guild has tested out some stuff too and did you always initiate the attack? We found that team A always beats team B if they initiate the attack but team B beats A if they start it, for similar teams. Something about the difference in animations from how each side starts ( one walks in while the corrupt other side teleports in) changes the outcome.
It could be the idea that you took damage faster so you hit your skill faster too, but there is definitely a difference depending who starts the attack too.
I also did initiate a Queen of Hearts battle. I lost the battle because the enemy always attacks me first. But this time, they were attacking in sync.
