Invasion improvement

I play a lot of invasion as it is one of my favorite parts of the game. The way to hit breakers is causing RSI or any other form of repetitive motion complaints. Every breaker/bot takes 4 taps on the screen. When hitting your own bot it is 5 per breaker/bot.
The breaker screen allows the player to have 10 quick fight to defeat the breaker, which is a good improvement.
For the bots itself it would be great to have a similar option…
I had two options in mind:
quick fights for one bot, and it will automatically fight with 1 or 3 (or was it 5) breakers (depending on the choice the player made) until all breakers are used
Option 2 the players selects the option use 1 or 3 breakers and a sliding scale is presented to show how many times he is able to attack the bot. This could work the same as the promotion slide.

The second option gives the player more controle and would help guilds to use multiple bots and attacks will go smoother and a lot faster.

This would be an awesome thing to have, but I assume the problem PB would have adding this in in how to make it foolproof.

Invasion was never designed to allow bots to be endlessly beaten with 1 breaker, PB said this many times then for some reason ignored their own design and released a ton of heroes who could do exactly that 😵‍💫

However I’d bet that more than half of the general game population still don’t take advantage of this and use level-limited teams vs. the bot. In that situation, with a feature such as this, how do you ensure that someone can’t just burn all of their breakers for absolutely nothing?

The breaker quest quick fight is pretty safe since it stops if you lose and will only ever hit 10 at a time. But there’s not really a concept of ‘losing’ against the bot, since it was never designed that way, and if it stopped on a loss it would be directly in contradiction of PBs design (which they have already ruined, but never actually officially said so).

It could also lock up the bot from being hit for a long time if someone had a lot of breakers, unless you made it instant, which would just make invasion scores even more crazy than they already are. You could do some sort of complex server side ‘memory’ to allow multiple people to hit it at once, but that would take a long time to develop.

As a busy person I’d love a way to just dump all my breakers in one go, there’s just a lot of things to consider

Well maybe it would be good to limit the number of automated fights. Maybe cap it at 60 or 100.

But the current way isn’t working either. We have a very active guild and a lot of players have to coordinate to stop the bot from being blocked.
So for example I saved up 1500 breakers, another player had 2300 breakers. A few of our guild members build up to 60, hit the big Bot.
We have to coordinate via chat and when the bot is ‘stolen’ it kills the flow the player is in.
So the blocking is already a major issue in our guild. And with the number of breakers the time of the block is a long time.
It should also stop when a hero or all heroes are defeated.

I thought that the bot already has a time limit. So when you try to beat it with a low power team, you get timed out or beaten. I’ve had that in the past when I hadn’t improved my heroes enough.

It would also be an option to limit per size of bot. So a bot starts at 10 and increases per 5 points.
You could limit it based on those steps. So you can fight with X number of breakers which is equal to Y number of the bot size.

For example the player has 500 breakers and wants to use these in the singular use method. This would mean he could attack with a maximum of 20 breakers which equals 100 points for the bot. With the way I’m playing 20 is to low, and I would rather see a maximum of 1000 points (or 200 breakers) — but only if a maximum is absolutely necessary.

And with this way of fighting both mama bots can be used. Currently it interrupts to much to attack both at the same time. So basically both bots are currently blocked not to interrupt the player hitting the largest mama bot.
