Noticed a thing with Merlin. His “Teacher’s Pet” often fails against Jack Sparrow. For the first time, I guess, he dodges the magic shot, but before he can do it again, Merlin shoots for the 2nd time…and fails again. Only for the 3rd time Jack finally transforms, and this happens every time I face him

That’s because of his counter move and the timing of the squirrel. Jack cannot be squirreled during “Acting Dodgy”.

Also if a teammate has fallen, it triggers his pirate code skill and jack will drink to their memory while he is drinking attacks often miss, the same as when Alice is changing size or shank is entering or exiting her car
